Those were also the rules ahead of time, not changing all the time. I get wanting twists, but stop doing it with outsiders making the choice.

There's many things about BB I don't agree with them on doing it. Battle back, fan voting, twist for sake of twist and so on. Old school BB was great because you had drama, strategic players, challenges meaning alot, and unscripted DRs. Nowadays, it's showmances, fan voting, giant alliances, stereotypical roles, throwing comps and so on.

Like in Survivor, the players can anticipate changes. Survivor players know when a merge is happening. BB players know battle back is happening, and know when a double eviction is happening. Because they're too predictable.

If people can't predict that stuff, it makes game planning that much more intense and harder,in a good way.

This isn't nearly as bad as some of the other controversial things over the years, but still, doesn't BB screen for this type of stuff? If I was a company and almost every batch of people who got hired had people who make inappropriate comments, I'd be questioning the person making these hires (in BBs case, the casting people) due to a lack of proper screening.

Yeah some of them you could tell almost immediately that they would be problems. JC is going to get himself in trouble with his joking and crossing lines.

This isn't nearly as bad as some of the other controversial things over the years, but still, doesn't BB screen for this type of stuff? JC it was clear he would do this. Swaggy C is crazy. The woman who get everything because of their bodies. It is all clear as day that they would be like this.

Sure, people can fake these tests too, but if you get a proper person to do this screening, you are more likely to avoid that type of stuff. Some are hard to screen out, but others (like Aaryn a few seasons ago) if you actually dug, you could find stuff. I mean look at the spelling of her name alone and rearrange it. She was also a model from Texas whose father owned a ranch(so a southern girl who gets what she wants because of her looks, and whose dad has money) and I don't know if this part was true, but apparently a name of one of the horses was a derogatory name.


Survivor has been guilty of this too. One guy they cast, he was against a black tribemate(accusing that guy of being "loud and obnoxious" and "not having a real job" since he was a comedian) and even admitted at tribal that the only black person he had ever known in his life was his maid.


Surely things like that can be caught beforehand? Talk to someone for awhile, even bring up things like racism, different lifestyle choices and so on and find out about the language they use in their everyday life. Sure, sometimes language is used that people get offend by, but it might not be so bad(because some people get offended real easily), but other types isn't acceptable. Emphasize things like that in the rules before the season begins, and make people aware that there WILL be consequences if they make comments that offend a large group of people.

Look at us, we are talking about it on a video game/sports message board.
They will say it is horrible and they will do something about it, but like I said its not bad for them. Its bad for us and society in general that people are that ignorant and insensitive.

I looked at the BB vote questions for this week and it's the exact same questions as last time! Sam/Faysal can't be voted for. So this basically just gives the runner ups the win the following week. I'd say Swaggy C for most trending and Brett or Winston for least trending.

Steve- I wonder if he tried out for Survivor and didn't make it. 40 year old former cop, that sounds like a Survivor casting choice. Hopefully he can be as funny as Kevin last year and less like someone like Glenn.

lol, I got that one right. He ended up like Glenn. Hopefully his Glenn comparison ends once he's out of the house and doesn't continue to the crazy/creepiness part after leaving the game.

I'm surprised with how the voting went. Another week Swaggy C doesn't get the most trending, and Rachel is the one to get least trending!? I'd imagine people think Swaggy is annoying, and that's one of the questions to determine who is trending, so I'm surprised people aren't saying him. And Rachel seems to be fairly popular (though I hate her) so seeing her as least trending is surprising too.


I find the balance of apps to be real uneven. Faysal has to eat so many platters of "ham" across many different days. Meanwhile, Rachel has to get yelled at maybe a dozen or so times in a single day. Only explanation is that BB just wanted to punish him for thinking he could take the Ham punishment, but get off because he can't eat Ham, so they just made an overkill on the vegan version.


At least Tyler won and got a great power. It's almost like a Survivor hidden immunity idol. You can use it at any time and save yourself, but you have to use it BEFORE you know what the decision is, so you could've potentially wasted the power. It'll be interesting to see if he even thinks of using it if he finds out he's going up as a pawn. If he gets lucky, he either just never has to use it, or finds out he's the target before a nomination or veto and he just uses it then.

This has started off as a very weird season to me.
I usually have a favorite that I pull for by now, but I really cannot stand any of them.
They all act so childish and just generally get on my nerves!
The Nicole Richie look a like crying and falling to her knees when she won HOH has just very weird!
Its also very strange that what 6 episodes in and they really have not given any camera time to over half the cast yet. I don't know hardly anything about most of them yet.

Once we hit jury, that's when game picks up. It's kind of funny, Kaitlyn reminds me of someone I used to know. Looks and acts just like them too.

But the fact that they have most/least trending fan voting, but don't actually show certain HGs (or show certain ones alot) is why I said they could steer voting in certain directions. I heard a Julie interview saying that these apps aren't about most/least popular, it's based on what you do in the house (So Sam got it because people were talking about her more due to her being a robot. Though I find that contradictory to the voting to begin with since it's asking people questions like who's entertaining, annoying and so on).

Any guesses on what the remaining app powers might be?

My guess (Redraw,Identity Theft and Read It I wouldn't be surprised if I was right,or close to right. The other 3 are complete guesses)

-Read It = Wearing noise cancelling headphones (so you can only lip read what people are saying)
-Spammed = Similar to the Ham punishment, you must eat Spam?

Rachel getting least trending made sense, just like Fezzy getting it made sense. I didn't even know her name was Rachel, she's never on screen. Same with Angela, who I just had to look up, or Bro Brett. Unless something happens this week involving them I'd bet one of those two is next. Winston was one of my guesses this week but now if he's trying to start ish with Swaggy he'll be a trender

Yeah Re-draw seems like it would definitely be something to do with picking players for veto comp.

Identity theft would be overpowered in that fashion so I don't think that would be it, I think that will be you can steal a vote from someone, hopefully the other person still votes as normal just without knowing their vote didn't count, think of the paranoia that would spread through the house.

Upgrade I think you nailed it, I'm betting it will be co-HOH but wouldn't be surprised by the veto being upgraded either.

I didn't think about the vote steal one for identity theft. That could be a possible option too. Either make it like Survivor where you have to announce the vote steal before the vote (and "show your cards"), or make it a hidden vote steal, so nobody knows what happened with the voting numbers (usually the "mystery vote" is the thing which causes the most drama on a modern season of BB).

Wondering who is going to win the vote next week. It could be a key to what happens in the game.

Hoping this has been an interesting week. If not, you have the side of the house with basically 0 air time outside of 2-3 people, having control.

Production is going to have to switch things up quickly if that happens.
