Sounds like more controversy in the BB house recently, but it's NOT what you're thinking
(spoiler on the upcoming HOH comp)

Now for the controversy you are expecting. Here's what JC said...

Is tonight's eviction not live? I want to read the first spoiler, but I thought the Thursday evictions were actually live so I'm confused on how the upcoming HoH could be spoilered.

Evictions are never "live". They're filmed hours before it airs on TV, but people typically don't know what happens (I think word does sometimes get out, but audience aren't supposed to be sharing info, and if they text during the taping, they'd be kicked out).

The spoiler doesn't spoil who wins HOH because it hasn't happened yet. It does mention the TYPE of competition this weeks HOH will be though.

They are live on the east coast, yes they practice and prep for it, but they are live.

Is it truly live though? Because it seems like they do good job censoring out what people say, more than just some 5 second delay bleep edit.

I know on BB Canada, they start the show around 3-4pm EST despite it not airing until the night.

They are for sure live when it airs on the East and Central US.
And I saw the commercials with him on it a bunch of times.
                Saw it a few times.

Yeah they good at it, plus they remind them not to say anything on live TV. Sometimes stuff comes out, but for the most part it is easy.

                    Re: Big Brother 20

lol, it's like BB read this thread. You want proof it's live? This episode did that.

That exit interview..... One of most awkward/unconformable BB interviews I've seen. Glad Rachel is gone. I never liked her. That goodbye message from Angela though, she went from "Who is Angela?" to "THAT'S ANGELA!" to "Look who's HOH!" in 1 night.

I know I'm gonna jinx it, but I've liked this season alot. IF it plays out how I'm hoping it does, then this could be my fave season since BB12. It's already my fave of the "HD era" thus far, hope it stays that way.

What's crazy about all this is that Bayleigh doesn't know Rachel told Angela who told Tyler. And she won't because Rachel isn't there anymore.

As for the Angela/Rachel stuff, isn't all this technically a lie? Angela doesn't believe Rachel saying that Bayleigh said that Tyler said to put up Angela as a replacement. Rachel was right, but Bayleigh was wrong. Tyler never suggested Angela go up. Bayleigh said it, so Tyler asked her to reassure that he heard her correctly.

And speaking of Bayleigh....that's her familys house? Why is she on BB again? And that was Swaggys car? These are apparently people who need the 500k?

                      Re: Big Brother 20

Yeah Rachel was MAD, she zipped out after the eviction so fast, and for a minute I feared for Julie's safety in the studio lol, she looked so intent on throwing a tantrum or doing something stupid, she settled down (sort of) enough for the interview, but damn!

I was hoping Brett would go home, the arrogance in this guy, I mean... wow.

BUT, he's good for speeches and he did it again, so at least he's good for that. The flirtiness with hayley and him was weird, and she voted for him anyway, I'm not sure what was going on there

Angela; how did she power trip before having power? That was crazy.

Swag and Bay's family scene: couldn't have cared less, played NCAAF 14 til it was over, but at least CBS figured out a way to keep him relevant I guess

If Rachel hadn't spazzed out after being put up I'm pretty sure Brett would've gone home.

Oh Well, I agree with Maj, this has been pretty entertaining so far

Seems like they just can't help themselves...two powers still in play and we've got additional gamechangers on the way. I sure hope it doesn't ruin the good thing they've got going this season. My only thought is they are introducing more powers so that they actually use them rather than saving/banking or letting them expire.

With that said, this season has been the most entertaining in quite some time. It's great seeing the house divided and none of that "voting with the house" nonsense we've seen in past seasons. The FOUTTE side of the house has to be so perplexed and defeated...every time they've had HOH, the HG they want to go home ends up staying.

Great season so far...hopefully the new twist doesn't screw it up.

I don't mind the way she exited the house (though nobody is beating Codys from last year). Once she made it to Julie, that's when it got crazy. Was thinking for a second she might've just wanted to walk right past Julie and completely leave the stage. People have been blindsided and shocked before, but nobody as emotionally blindsided as Rachel was.

That Swaggy stuff was really stupid. I hate when BB does things like this. We're watching BIG BROTHER. Not "random behind the scenes stuff with peoples family/friends". If they want, put that online as some CBS.com extra video, don't waste TV time. There's only so much time to show BB on TV anyways, why waste it with this stuff? Happens every season.

Not to mention, those segments are clearly staged. As if people are all watching big brother together like that, or they waited until Swaggy came over to suddenly watch and react to an HOH comp, not knowing who won....And I doubt Swaggy would actually wear stuff with his face/name on it if this were a regular visit, but since he knew he was on TV, he's playing up that character for the camera. BB likely set up that visit too, because no way do I think Swaggy called up her family and was like "You mind if I come over?", and then BB got word and decided to bring cameras.

                                Re: Big Brother 20

Rachel was approaching Devin level of terrible gameplay. It might have been on a different scale, but this last week, every action she took had the opposite reaction from Bae. She got herself nominated, which IU don't think they showed well on TV, but was well chronicled on Jokers. and Angela mentioned it in her goodbye message.

And then she secured her exit from the game by not having a clue how to handle information she acquires. I mean, all she had to do this week is nothing. That's it.

But she is a dram queen. My take is that she whined and whined and whined about Brett ignorer to appear sympathetic. But what she really wanted was others to assure her how much they wanted her to stay. Instead, she annoyed everyone she spoke to.

And Tyler is seriously close to becoming the best player in BB history. He totally gets how to be subtle, when to push and when to back-off. He plays both sides so well because he is has made a choice. So he is not burdened with trying to keep the charade going any longer than he can.

Mostly, he understands the one thing so many reality show contestants do not. Everybody is playing for themselves. If you want something, you have to pitch it as something for them. No one cares how important something is to yourself. Worse, if you push something on a an HoH, it has the opposite effect (see Rachel).

When Tyler tried to sway Scottie, he read Scottie right away as not buying into it, and just backed off. He didn't argue. he didn't go to his team and demand they get rid of him. He just backed off and looked for other ways to affect the game. But with Kaitlyn and Bay, he was able to find the common ground he needed to get information and to have set him up going forward.
