Re: Better Call Saul Season 4 (8-6-18)
An open window wouldSpoilersuggest an escape rather than a distraction.
SpoilerAfter some research I found out the meaning of the "measuring tool plaque" that Lalo heisted and whose construction was prominently featured in the opening. The inscription on the plaque "In Liebe Deine Jungs" is translated to "With love...Your boys". Margarethe even tells Lalo "Werner loved seine Jungs" immediately offering the translation (his boys).
So things don't add up. Werner was like a father to his crew, and saved his boys from a cave-in (not really, LOL) but not one of his "sons" attended his funeral. When Lalo sees the plaque and the heartfelt inscription that cements his suspicions but unfortunately for Werner's boys there's a tag on the bottom that reveals the manufacturer or store. There will be trouble in Germany.Comment

Yeah, You weren't kidding. Also realized that there were so many questions I had from this episode that I had to find answers from some YouTubers on how did Lalo know where to go. Seems like Season 4 explains many of those questions I had, and how shrewd Lalo is as an investigator.Comment

Re: Better Call Saul Season 4 (8-6-18)
Based on tonight's episode:
SpoilerI feel like the scene with the vet was foreshadowing Kim's fate. The fact that she was the one who commented on the vacuum repair business card felt like they were hinting at something. Honestly that wasn't even on my radar as on option....but it makes sense
I'm excited to see how they wrap up the first half of the season next week. Seems like there are a couple storylines that could be coming to a close, but still a lot of questions to address in the second half this summerChicago Cubs

Re: Better Call Saul Season 4 (8-6-18)
SpoilerAfter the vet scene yesterday I think its a possibility. It could open up an interesting post black-and-white scene if they go back to the flash-forwards at any point. Maybe Saul chose Omaha because he was hoping to run into someone? We know from the flashbacks to Kim's childhood that she is from Nebraska.
I guess this would beg the question of why Kim would choose to disappear and Saul stick around?Chicago Cubs

Re: Better Call Saul Season 4 (8-6-18)
As far as I can recall Kim never appeared in Breaking Bad so while Jimmy ends up in Omaha and Kim is from there her never showing up in BB leads me to believe she is killed in BCS.Comment

Re: Better Call Saul Season 4 (8-6-18)
Ed (Forster) could ofSpoiler"disappeared" her pre-Breaking Bad. I saw the Vacuum store card in the vet's black book but I thought it was just a prelude into Saul's BB use of the service, for his clients and eventually himself. Kim's interest in the card including mouthing the words of the company indicate at least a possibility she could get a new identity. CBoller1331's post had me re-watching the scene. Sure, presently Kim has no idea about the specifics of the company's services but could eventually get there.Comment

Ah good call. Probably wouldn't be a wise move to disappear to a place where you know someone else anyway.Saul didn't choose Nebraska.

Re: Better Call Saul Season 4 (8-6-18)
My point is Kim never appeared in BB and that is at least 5 years. Maybe Jimmie didn't choose Omaha but he ended up there at least in Nebraska. I would think that if she got disappeared by Forster she would find a way to let Jimmy know. If they can kill off Mike in BB they can pretty much do anything. I am leaning towards Kim getting killed at some point late in the season. We'll see.Comment
