    Bohemian Rhapsody

One week away. Who's excited? This is one I've been looking forward to. We know the music will be amazing and Rami Malek has Oscar buzz for his portrayal of Freddie.

The story won't be too deep (which I'm fine with. Queen fans all know what happened to Freddie, no need rehashing) and that's OK. It's a snapshot into the man's life and one of the most important bands of all-time.

I’m excited, one of my favorite bands of all time and I’m a big fan of Rami Malek.

Definitely going to an Atmos theater for this one. Maybe IMAX, those concert scenes look epic.

      Go see this immediately. Seriously.

Might be one of my favorite movies. The Live Aid stuff was breathtaking.

The cinematography in some spots was incredible. There's, I believe, 2 shots in the movie, both at concerts, where it's an extreme closeup of Freddie's eyes, with the reflection of the crowd. I had never seen anything like that.

I had to keep reminding myself that it was an actor playing Freddie Mercury.

And when you see Ray Foster, the actor is ABSOLUTELY who you think it is.

I just left the theater. This movie was incredible. Rami Malek deserves an Oscar for this performance. If you're a fan of Queen you need to see it. So well done.

I'll have to see this at some point. I've honestly never been a huge Queen fan, but Freddie was such an interesting guy and the second they announced Rami Malek as the lead, it felt like a perfect casting.

Got done seeing it yesterday, got goosebumps during some scenes like the Live Aid concert which they nailed perfectly. Rami definitely needs to get a nom for his performance, outstanding.

Kinda wished we got to know each band member more but I guess this was more a Freddy story. Dead ringer for whoever played Brian May though. Also had no idea that Mike Meyers was the music exec which was awesome because he was the one that got me to love Queen through Wayne’s World.

With most biopics, I always want more but they did well with the time they got and nailed the casting.

The movie is worth seeing for the Live Aid performance alone. Wow!

Rami Malek deserves all the praise he's getting for playing Freddie in this film. Amazing performance.

                    Still just randomly dropping impressions.

Rami BETTER win some kind of award.

The Live Aid scene was step-by-step perfection. He nailed every single movement. Thanks to their attention to detail, the even had the right cups on the piano.

I can't wait to see this again. And here's a fantastic picture from the World Premier.

Im 37 took my 29 yr old wife to see this....we both loved it. Went home she took out my Queen records, listened to them and she made a remark:

Why have I been listening to pink, ariana grande, cardi b....when there is music like Queen’s??!

Maybe there will be less “musical” battles in our car during long trips....HALLELUJAH

Y'all didn't care that the chronology was messed up? That's been the biggest issue I've seen and seems like a lazy mistake.

I'm not 100% certain on the chronological order of things, so it didn't bother me at all.

Not a documentary, dude. You got 90 minutes to hit the highlights and that requires combining events and taking liberties. It's not lazy, it's making a more enjoyable film.

I realized early that some of the negative impressions, some from reviewers, were from people that don't always know how to watch a film. It was clear from what everyone liked that this was going to be a fun biopic, and it delivered. My wife, who wasn't a huge Queen fan, loved it to death. It was just fun and interesting.

Yeah, if you are looking for a documentary on Queen, then a 90 minute big budget film is looking in the wrong place. This was more a celebration of the band.

My wife and I went and saw it last night and we both loved it. I thought it was a well done movie about Freddie, how the band came to be, how the songs were created and thought up, and the struggles they had later on in life. If you are a fan of music, then you will enjoy this movie in my opinion. My wife and I (me 31 and her 27) both realized after the film that you don't have that many musicians really anymore. You don't have bands like Queen reinventing something each time they make an album, you have more people just trying to get their fame and move with status quo rather than creating actual music. Yes you have some bands that do that now, but they are few and far between now. This movie just made it more noticeable. Like I said, I thoroughly enjoyed the film and anyone who likes music will probably also enjoy it.
