Has anyone seen this yet? I'm going tomorrow evening.

I've heard nothing but great things about this movie and people say they need to watch it multiple times to catch everything (similar to "Get Out").

Last I saw, it was 93% on Rotten Tomatoes.

Pretty good movie. I don't know if it's genius like Get Out but it's not a bad way to kill 2 hours. I'm gonna go see it again Tuesday.

There's really no way to actually discuss the movie without spoiling so I've just been waiting.

We saw it this weekend. We enjoyed it very much. The whole concept for the movie is very interesting.

Lupita Nyong'o is great in this movie. She continues to shine as an actress. The mix of Intensity and humor was perfect IMO.

Winston Duke was also very good in this movie. He was a perfect cast for the his role.

The kids also, we're good. Jordan Peele is definitely creating his own niche in the horror genre, and I Love It.....

Great follow up to Get Out.....

Just got out of the theater. Good creepy factor, not really scary. The ending doesn't really make sense to me with the rest of the movie. It felt like a twist just to be a twist. I don't know, maybe it'll make more sense the next time I watch it.

I thought more about the movie last night and read some articles and the more I thought about it, the less I liked it. The ending ruined the plot for me and brought up too many holes. I really enjoyed everything up to the end.

We just got back. Both of us really enjoyed it. Great performances from everyone particularly Lupita. Get Out of definitely the tighter narrative and for that reason I like it more, but this was still a great watch.

I've seen it twice now. My theory is Peele had a more macro idea for the movie but when he saw what he had in Lupita (a generational performance) he narrowed the scope to focusing on one family and we ended up with what feels like different parts of 2 separate movies.

Its good but I just don't really get it. I feel like if I need to read reddit for 3 hours to understand your movie then you did a poor job explaining the vision.

I was fully expecting to do a complete reddit dive on this movie purely based from the premise the trailers established. Honestly, after we left the movie I never really felt there was a whole lot to be answered for me personally. I know there's a lot of imagery/symbolism throughout and analyzing those would be fun and seeing everybody's perspective on the movie, of course, but the movie doesn't feel like a riddle or enigma left to solve at the end.

I didn't find the movie confusing. Unless I missed something, I think a lot of it was spelled out pretty clearly. The characters definitely have a big exposition dump near the end along with actual imagery.


If we're talking like macro level, the whole overarching story, that's where I feel the ending of the film lost me. Not lost me on it being confusing but lost me on it making much sense in this film. I think everything up till the end was good. I was into it, following along, enjoying the ride of what's going to happen next.


But then the ending was sort of meh. Like, that's it? And for what, really? We know what started it all but why did that matter to everyone but the main characters? I felt like that was left too open for interpretation.
