    Bob Einstein dead at 76

He's also known for his work on Curb Your Enthusiasm

Well this year is off to a great start NOT! First Mean Gene and now this. Here's my favorite of Super Dave's crazy stunts. It's not his most craziest but it's the first one I ever saw:

Very sad. I loved him as a kid, especially since he was super 'Dave'

Later in life I really enjoyed him on Curb Your. I didn't realize he was in his mid 70s.

His real name is Bob Einstein, I always recognized him as Super Dave though.

That's a shame. He was great as Marty Funkhouser on CYE.

      RIP Bob.

EDIT: I had no idea his younger brother was Albert Brooks.

Who would have thought Brook's real name was Albert Einstein? A lot of you guys might have known but it escaped me and I've been a fan since Broadcast News.

I had no idea they were brothers, let alone that Albert's real last name was Einstein. Just never had a reason to look up their stories before.

Bob told the funniest joke in Curb history, and that's saying something. I grew up on his Super Dave character, so it was a bit of trip to see him appear as a recurring character on Curb. A true comedian. He'll be missed.

Grew up watching Super Dave on Bizarre and various appearances on Carson & Letterman.

Also really enjoyed his appearances on Comedians In Cars getting Coffee with Jerry Seinfeld.

                  He will be missed.

I had no idea that he was sick. I've been holding out hope for another season of Curb but it just won't be the same without Little Orphan Funkhouser.

One of you L.A. guys need to get two tickets to a Dodgers game. One for yourself and one memorial seat for the Funk Man.

I think I read they were filming for a new season a couple months ago. Obviously depending on how sick he was then (I didn't know either) he might not have been able to be a part of whatever they did, but I guess there's always a chance.
