Re: Game of Thrones: Season 8 (Final season)
I know no one cares, but I have loved this last season and the last episode was my favorite. The scenes blew me away and I have waited for the Hound to kill his brother for years. GOT is my fav show of all time and I have loved the ride it has taken me on.
Could they have used a couple more season? Yep for sure. But they were not given that option.
Things feel rushed because they are. They were not given the time to let some of the characters "develop", but its still been great to me..
To me its way better than the opposite.
When a network keeps putting out season after season when the show should have already been ended.
See Lost and TWD and True Blood.
All 3 are 3 of my fav shows ever but they had a few seasons on each that were just horrible because they strung them out.ND Season Ticket Holder since '72.Comment

They were given that option, HBO wanted 10 seasons of 10 episodes, they said they didn't need it.Originally posted by G PericoIf I ain't got it, then I gotta take it

I enjoyed it. Like I've always enjoyed this series. Like I said some people will hate this direction. Others will love it. Can't please everyone.
Really looking forward to Sunday [emoji119]

Re: Game of Thrones: Season 8 (Final season)
Dany just didnt want to rule Kingslanding. She wants to rule over the entire kingdom. The fear she instilled from her destruction of Kingslanding doesn't just affect the people there. It would have ramifications across the other 6 realms as well. A message was delivered. Bend the knee or the same will happen to you and your loved ones.
And she shows she's merciless. Let's not forget that message here. Cersei tried to bring more people into the walls of the castle because she thought that it would keep Dany and her dragons in check. And it did for a while only because her peeps advised against attacking and killing Innocents. She can be heartless.
Now the other kingdoms know that Dany does not play. If they even think about crossing her or starting a revolt, their loved ones lives will be in danger. They're entire cities burned to the groud.
The other Kingdoms, at least one would expect, will be falling right in line with that threat looming overhead. They might hate her. But they will obey.
Not bad for a foreigner.
However, it would have been nice if the show-runners would have said that in their interview instead of saying that she spontaneously decided to destroy the city because she saw the Red Keep.My 2K17 Boston Celtics MyLeague

So we are all in agreement last episode was perfect. And we all knew Dany was going dark and they spaced it out perfectly. Good.

It's only Wednesday. Wait till I wake up with a new thought on this tomorrow!
But seriously, I'm waiting on the finale now."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. Speaking of Bronn...what happened to my Dawg?
They have him show up like Batman in the night surprising Jamie and Tyrion. Threatens to kill them. Then bounces. Now Jamie and Cersei are dead.
So unless he pops up all randomly again in the FINAL episode, that plotline was completely unnecessary. And I honestly hope he does NOT show up again, because who cares about that right now with one episode left.Comment
