    RIP - Hal Blaine - Session Drummer Extraordinaire

    First realized his contribution and craft after watching "The Wrecking Crew" documentary. Performed on so many early rock hits and paved the way for later drummers.

    Funny I'm in the same boat as those first two guys. Got my first drum kit in 1973 and cut my teeth learning to play to the many hits that Hal played on , not even knowing at the time who the drummer was. He was a pioneer and drumming legend. R.I.P.

      Guy played on more top-10 hits (along w/ the Wrecking Crew) than basically anyone in pop music history. RIP.
