That was so weird, this guy is trying to promote some goofy personal gimmick by getting up early and chatting to the cameras, and he ended up completely ruining his whole game. It's rare the older guys make it this far, and that's probably an example of why

His DRs are over the top, but I'd still take him over most people this season. Season had felt dull so far. I know BB doesn't usually get going until jury, but this season hasn't been good.

Thought I'd like Holly,Analyse and Ovi more but they haven't been so good. Bella and Kemi I find really annoying. And then what people are saying about Jack and Jackson, sounds like we could have another BB15/19 on our hands.

He definitely is over the top in the DR, but that is the whole reason he is on the show.

Holly and Analyse are absent from TV, not sure if they are doing anything really. It's like BB looked for people who wanted a showmance. They started pairing off immediately.

Most of them are trying to promote something. It can help keep you sane and it helps fans like you/vote for you. You can't talk about game though or risk this happening. I'm shocked they haven't come up with a sound proof rooms so you can talk to the people watching the feeds.

Kemi, Ovi, and the other guy out actually know what is going on and would make good players if they weren't on the outside of the cool group that formed.
It's the casting that they continue to bring self absorbed model types that only care about themselves. No one else matters, so you get these words coming out of their mouths all the time.

They absolutely cast people simply for showmances. BB is love Island inside a house.

BB is banking of showmances because the producers are in love with being in love.

"Single and ready to mingle" is what BB looks for in casting.

I've heard people say they saw people get rejected from casting simply because they're married or in a relationship. Similar thing happens in Survivor, but less people hook up since you're all in the same shelter while smelling alot. Apparently one person on Survivor last year was almost turned away cause they were married. They ended up being one of most memorable people that season.

Yeah plenty of people have done that in the past and that is a room people that have done that tend to use, the key difference is most people who talk game to the feeds watchers are smart enough to realize they are wearing a microphone and they simply whisper and it all comes through clear on feeds, not sure what Cliff was thinking speaking at a loud volume anyone outside the door could hear.

Given the time of the day, he probably wasn't thinking. He did say this has become a morning routine of his. He knows how much time he has from when he wakes up compared to others so probably just figured he could talk regularly and nobody would be up for awhile after. Completely forgetting bathroom visits and people walking by can hear him.

Yeah late night or early morning are when most others have done that in the past also but still whispered. As you said the bathroom is right by there not sure how you would ever feel comfortable enough in the house to have a full discussion at regular volume with the feeds at any time. How many people on this season have seen many years of BB? Seems like many were fairly new fans. They probably dont even know who Dan or Derrick are.

I hope these casting people get paid by the hour. Because that's how long they probably spend on casting. Do they actually watch everyone's video?

I've actually been watching Love Island and it's really annoying, the casting director casted ALL THE SAME PEOPLE. Every person is the same, personality wise, they're all the same.

I'm on record saying reality dating shows are my guilty pleasure haha, so a combination of Big Brother and Bachelor Paradise sounded like a gem for me, the concept is cool, but good lord they botched the casting, and if the Big Brother contestants are rejects from that pool? yeesh

I could see it. You have a lot of beautiful people who immediately coupled up. Then those same people grouped together and are picking off the ugly people. It's basically high school and I'm shocked they actually haven't done anything to stop it. Usually they are pushing some type of social stuff in the casting and this time they went with what they claim to hate.

With Robyn doing the casting for both, you know it happened and they probably cut back on any research to check these people out unless they just used 1 pool of people for both shows.

And something uncovered about Jackson, he apparently has some kind of abuse charges against him just last year.

Ya, I'd feel safe living in a house with a stranger who has a fairly recent history of abuse.

The casting is just horrible. No background check needed? Except if you're in a relationship, then you're all but out.

I just read the concept for love Island, and its sad and stupid. But makes sense people here would be part of it. You NEED to couple up to win the game and if you're single, you're out. That sounds like BB21

Robyn Kass has been delusional for years. Now that they just go for under 30 people looking to just get famous, it has really ruined a lot of the game play. Grodner doesn't help with these stupid twists and what not either.

Remember Sam last year? As crazy as she was, she never heard of bb and apparently someone from the show got her on from meeting her I think at a bar or something like that.

Stuff like that is normal BB casting.

Survivor fired their longtime casting person who had a better history than BBs casting. But BB continues to keep them around. And even the Canadian version uses same casters.
