Thinking about switching from Xbox to PC
I never been a PC gamer because it seemed to complicated. But the fact that you have better editing options on PC with programs, Im thinking of switching to PC from my xbox one. Anyone know any good PC's for gaming that feel like an xbox?Tags: None -
Re: Thinking about switching from Xbox to PC
What do you mean by "feel like an xbox"?
I have bought my last few pcs through cyberpowerpc.com
You can build it cheaper yourself though if you're willing to wait for each component to go on sale.

Re: Thinking about switching from Xbox to PC
Steam and other clients would bring you the games. You can typically use an Xbox controller with the latter PCs from what I know. There are also XBox controller emulators that let you take your PC controller and enter the settings to act like an XBox controller with a little tweaking.
Owls is right, you can wait around for parts to go on sale, but it can be a pain in the *** to build if you don't get the component parts quite right. Minimally you'll probably want an i7 processor level and 16 GBs of memory. Video cards can be confusing with all the reviews out there as well. Personally I have an i5 with 16 gigs of memory and a 4 GB vid card, but you may want an 8 gig card.
If you don't want to fool with building, check out slickdeals.net especially around the holiday times.Comment

Re: Thinking about switching from Xbox to PC
I switched from Xbox to PC about 4 years ago and built my own PC. It was a bit frustrating at times, but overall it was a rewarding experience once it was completed. This is a great website for determining what parts are compatible and for comparing prices: https://pcpartpicker.com/.Comment

Re: Thinking about switching from Xbox to PC
It's not really that complicated assuming you have no issues. When/if you have issues though it can just take a little more time to figure out than a console.
I use both, I use my Xbox more because I enjoy a bigger TV and a couch over a desk chair in my office but man the PC can be amazing. The PC also has some games that you will not find on the consoles as well. And not to mention the great sales on games that are always going on.
It's more expensive to get started in PC gaming but once you get a good rig the sales and cheap games make it overall cheaper than console gaming.Streaming PC & PS5 games, join me most nights after 6:00pm ET on TwitchTV https://www.twitch.tv/shaunh20
