Rebels I watched for the first time several months ago when there was no sports and I was going crazy has a result. Clone wars series I have only seen a few episodes been meaning to get back into it.

Probably not a bad idea, but the animated stuff just doesn’t hit like the live action of the movies and now of The Mandolorian. It’s clear they’re pulling a lot from both Clone Wars and Rebels though, so jumping in just for full immersion makes sense.

I hope they don’t bring anyone else “back from the dead” and that the Skywalker saga stays separate. Not that they can’t be referenced or character crossover because it’s all the same world, but the movies covered Luke’s story — I want to know what happens with who we’re focusing on now.

I have a feeling Grogu’s call will have been heard by multiple, opposing forces and yup, it links back with Clone Wars. Together with Ahsoko Tano’s appearance and her dialogue, I think Ezra Bridger (good) will make an appearance (along with Thrawn) but that another dark entity will have heard the call too. The Empire is splintered but still operational. Someone like Palpatine may have picked up on the signal but may not show their hand until their plans are more underway...

Next week is the season finale. Bad news is that s3 won't be happening until Christmas 2021. Hopefully Grogu gets rescued before the S2 finale because I cant wait a year for that.

This show has saved Star Wars for me. Another bomb *** episode. Disney is really pushing the violence and I love it.

It really has. This what Star Wars post original trilogy was always supposed to be.

I grew up with Star Wars. Some of my best memories of my father after the divorce from my mother were when he took me to see the first two movies (A New Hope and Empire Strikes Back) in the theatre. Two of the few times I saw him after he left. He bought me a maxi comic book at the theatre for Empire Strikes Back and it was one of my prized possessions growing up. I would read it over and over again to be close to my Dad in a way.

I have shared the entire Star Wars saga with my kids from an early age, took them to all the new release movies as they grew up just like my Dad did with me. They know and love Star Wars as much as I do. Watching the Mandalorian with them every week makes me feel like that little kid in the theatre with my Dad again.

My kids have watched all the cartoons, but I have not. They have shared some highlights with me, but they know much more than I do about Rebels and Clone Wars.

The Mandalorian has definitely saved the franchise.
(I just hope Disney isn't going to destroy the franchise with all these spin-offs.)

Makes you wonder how much better Episodes 7,8 and 9 would have been under the helm of Favreau.
Full stop; I loved Episode 7. But the train derailed and it felt more like a disjointed patch job in episodes 8 and 9.

Anyhoo, I love this series and can't wait for Season 3. I just pray they keep Favreau at the helm.

As long as it’s Favreau or Filoni, they’ll be fine.

                        Agree.

TFA was and still is a blast. TLJ derailed it and Rise of Skywalker tried to fix it and did a good job actually. I liked it a lot.

Rogue One is epic. Love it. And I really
                        did enjoy Solo.

Last Jedi was the head scratcher of the Disney SW flicks.

1 day before the S2 season finale, the actor who played Boba Fett in the original trilogy has passed away.

After this spectacular episode, I've gotta rewatch the first 2 seasons now straight through. This is going to be my "new" Sequel Trilogy; the total runtime of Seasons 1 & 2 is longer than the entire Episodes 7, 8, & 9.

Keep exploring the Star Wars Universe...there's more to it than C3PO & R2D2 and their band of sidekicks
