Not just the ending. If you're a big Star Wars fans...the amount of easter eggs (that don't take away from the show for non-Star Wars guys) in this one is awesome.

For some reason, I thought every episode was released at once. I like the weekly releases better, not just for this show, but for other streaming shows too. Helps you "absorb" each episode fully and harder to be behind when you're watching episode by episode and theres not an entire season's worth of discussions already out there.

I watched S1 a couple of months back but probably forgot some details. For sure I'm watching the season finale, maybe episode 1 and 2 as well before going into S2.

Almost done rewatching S1. Way more enjoyable the 2nd time around since everything makes sense.

This won't age well if its answered already in S2, but I wonder if "baby yoda" actually is baby yoda.

We know this series takes place after Return of the Jedi. The kid is around 50 years old. What if he's actually some reincarnated Yoda. Like how when a Phoenix dies, a new one rises from the ashes. Something similar with Yoda maybe?

I was looking up the timeline for Star Wars. If Mandalorian is 5 years after Return of the Jedi, that would put it taking place 41 years from the prequels.

So the kid would've been born sometime before the phantom menace.

I believe Favreau and Filoni have both said it’s not “Baby Yoda” as in his offspring, just another one of the species. Don’t think that’s changed in their minds but who knows.
