Ric Ocasek of the Cars and Eddie Money Die Recently

Eddie Money, the prolific hitmaker whose songs "Baby Hold On" and "Two Tickets to Paradise" soundtracked the 1980s, has died. He was 70.

The Cars first album was a classic from first cut to last cut.

Eddie Money was a hit making machine. My favorite of his was Shakin'

Man...their music was a big part of the 80's and the dawn of MTV.

That was back when MTV was awesome and all about music.

The Cars had some classic videos from the Heartbeat City album back in 1984. In fact the video for the first single off that album You Might Think beat Michael Jackson's iconic video for "Thriller" for the very first Video of the Year ever on the MTV video awards.

I loved the Cars in the early 80's. Just great fun catchy new wave rock.

Eddie Money had a bunch of great tunes. Two Tickets To Paradise was always my fav from him.

70 and natural causes? Not so sure. Not a big Cars fan but Ocasek was an interesting character. Eddie Money definitely tried to keep more of a classic rock/bluesy feel in an era that was going a different direction. Did like how he was brought back to the KOQ episode.
