Last man standing series finale aired Thursday.

Sucks to see the show end, but the revival on Fox really wasn't as good, especially the final season.

The show was at its best in its earlier seasons. By the end of the series, they replaced the actress for 2 of the main daughters (both original actresses were better than their replacement), and the other daughter was basically written off the show.

They teased a Home Improvement revival during an earlier episode this season, who knows if that will happen, or maybe they threw it in there to see what the audience reaction was to that.

I think I watched two episodes of the revival of Last Man Standing. Everyone just seemed to be going through the motions and the writing wasn't good enough to overlook that. The original run still holds up in reruns though, so that's good enough for me.

If anyone watches Brooklyn Nine-Nine, they put out a teaser for the final season, premiering August 12.

The show just wasn't the same the past few years.

The series finale didn't even feel like a series finale, minus the references/jokes they threw in at random moments.

I was at least expecting the show to end with Mike officially retiring as Outdoor Man and him and Vanessa head out on a trip of their own (to connect how the show began, where Mike returned home from his many trips for Outdoor Man, to his wife and 3 daughters, but now they're all grown up as Mike and Vanessa could head out knowing everyone else is taken care of)

If anyone is watching Manifest, I just watched the season finale. All I can say is... what in the HECK was that.

Yeah I watch this show. Average but sometimes interesting. Surprise ending to say the least bet it turns out to be a Dallas Bobby Shower deal when all is said and done. Never happened. Really.

Manifest done. I thought the first season was OK the second a bit better. No idea what this year was all about crazy really but thankfully they decided to euthanize this pos.

After the last few episodes including the two that just opened the "summer season" I completely agree. I'm not terribly upset it got canceled.

Having said that I'd like them to end it as satisfyingly as they could but aren't all the five remaining episodes in the can?

Finally watched it. Kid grew up, so they found a way to age him easily, planning on another season.

Other than that, it was terrible because there are no answers to anything. The writers should have planned so they had something ready to at least give people some type of ending.

Sad that is the state of TV now a days, you get wrapped up watching a show and a lot of them, when quickly cancelled, never get a proper ending.

I actually binged Your Honor (Showtime, starring Byron Cranston) although I recognized it was a mixed bag. In this series Cranston plays a respected New Orleans judge whose son kills a 17-year (his age too) motorcyclist who happens to be the son of a crime boss/business tycoon. Pretty good stuff although some questionable decisions and bad luck become convenient roadblocks for father and son. Michael Stuhlbarg who played Arnold Roth in Boardwalk Empire is the crime boss.

                            Spoiler
The guy that played Clay Davis on The Wire portrays the judge's best friend and is a plus to the series.

The show received mix reviews but high ratings got it an August renewal even though it started out as a one and done limited series. The show aired from late 2020 to early 2021. Given the ending I am looking forward to season 2.

The new Wonder Years reboot is a decent watch two episodes in imho.
