It's now been confirmed! All stars season happening starting August 5th with a 2 hour premiere!

If it follows a regular BB length, it should go on until October.

That would help fill CBS schedule, especially the later into October it goes. December is usually Christmas specials anyways, so it just leaves November for them to try finding things to fill the schedule.

To piggyback off of this, the cast is revealed on Monday. I skipped BB 21, so hopefully an All Stars season lives up to the hype (like Survivor WaW did).

Based on the rumored cast, theres some names which will be great, and some which have no business being on the season.

Some interesting news regarding the all star cast.

CBS has announced that they WON'T be announcing the cast name before the premiere.

So if you want to see who's officially in the cast, you have to tune in to find out.

Rumors all over about who may or may not be there, but we won't know how reliable those rumors are until Wednesday.

For a season like this, I like it that way. A nice surprise to see name by name announced instead of just reading a list of names at once online.

This Wednesday. 2 hour premiere starting at 9pm.

No episode for the first Thursday, so the 5th is 2 hour premiere, then Sunday will be the next episode.


Don't want to get hope up, but people seem to think this could be a reboot for BB since we all know how horrible 2 of the last 3 seasons have been all around, starting at the top with the casting/screening.

If this is a reboot, I hope they ditch all these stupid temporary twists, scripted DRs, and little things like the nomination block and just bring back the old school BB stuff like real DRs and the nomination key box

I'd love for them to go back to the shows roots. Food comps, ACTUAL DR clips (not this over dramatic, super fake reaction DR stuff they do now), proper nominations, HOH room tours, etc.

I also agree with the temporary twists. All they do IMO is delay the "Actual" gameplay and strategy that BB has become known for.

The have not stuff was supposed to be a single season thing that they just kept doing every year before just ditching its existence on TV the past few years.

There's so many things about old BB which was so good.

I get shows like BB and Survivor wanting to change things up to "freshen up the show", but there's a reason past seasons were so good.

If they want to change things up, don't make the game so predictable.

Everyone knows there's at least 1 buyback comp every season, they know there's the Otev challenge and other common challenges at the same point in seasons. Juries begin at the same point. Mix things up.

Interesting news about season premiere. Sounds like HGs actually haven't entered the house yet?!

LIVE season premiere on Wednesday! Could be a move in comp, hopefully we don't see any good players knocked out on day 1 because of that.

Season finale date seems like it'll be late October.

Speaking of scripted DRs needing to go away, it reminds me of one of the things I hate most about them, the reoccurring scripted DRs where HGs need to explain a comp to the viewers, provide most generic strategy ever, and most cliche lines.


HG: So we go outside to the backyard and see ____.

Comp Host: The object of this comp is to hold on as long as possible, the winner becomes the new HOH!

HG: In this competition, we have a small platform to stand on and need to hold on for as long as possible. My strategy is to make sure my arms and legs don't get too tired so I can hold on the longest. I need to win this competition or else I might be going up on the block. I don't want to get any blood on my hands, but I don't want to go up on the block. Even if I'm not the target, I could still be put up as a pawn and we all know pawns go home.

This season has the greatest female cast in BB history.

First season ever in BB where there's 2 women I really want to see in the finals.

I wouldn't mind a final 3, depending on who those 3 are.

And anyone who has seen my comments in past years knows how I feel about BBs casting when it comes to women among other groups casted based on archetypes, so finally having a season with multiple top females is huge.

Nicole F. went from a Nurse to a Social Media Influencer? Sounds like a downgrade.

Dani is back! Crazy to think how young she was on her first season that all these years later she's still younger than many people on their first season. She's one of my winner picks.

Davonne actually got in trouble for talking BB too much as a poker dealer lol. They showed her meme clip too!

Tyler's back! Another winner pick here. Will be interesting to see how he plays now that everyone knows his game.

Ian could fly under the radar which is weird to think about a winner.

Kevin, wouldn't call him an all star, but they probably wanted another person with witty one liners in the DR.

Enzo, the meow meow. Brigade is back! One of my fave alliances ever.

Janelle for a 4th time,maybe she'll finally win?

Bayleigh, how is she an All Star?

Nicole A., too bad she was on a bad BB21 season, she was one of the highlights of it. Still mad she and Cliff blew their opportunity to win! Is this a sad showing of society? She probably makes more as a podcaster than a kindergarten teacher.

Keesha! One of my fave players ever. She finally came back!

What up Kaysar! I hope he can finally make the jury on his 4th chance.

Cody, him and Nicole will be an alliance for sure.

Memphis back too. Him and Keesha reunited, part of one of my fave seasons.

David, a first boot. Should've done better in his season. Not all star worthy, but I wanted him to do better last year. Night 1 boots suck.

Terrible seeing what these people's "jobs" are. Except for the older players, they basically don't have jobs and used BB to gain some fame.

Could be a good season, but let's see how much production messes it up.

On the other hand, what does it say about pay when someone who's a teacher is all but likely making MORE money as a podcaster than a teacher.

And the other Nicole already won 500k. 500k after taxes n a big city might get you a condo. 500k in a small town sets you up nicely.

Of all the jobs, Kaysars seems like the most important.

And we all know Bayleigh doesn't need the money as much. We saw her family's house on BB20, it was like the fresh Prince mansion. And now seems like her and Swaggy have a condo with a nice view, so that wasnt cheap either.
