    RIP Regis

His version of Who Wants to be a Millionaire was the only version of it I really liked.

And his morning show was nice to watch from time to time. I don't watch morning shows or anything like that, but if I happened to be home during the day I might just tune in for a small amount of time.

    Damn.

He obviously slowed down in the last few years, but it seemed like he was always someone who was around. Aside from the talk shows and Millionaire, his appearances on Craig Ferguson’s late night show come to mind for me. Always quick-witted, always funny, always worth a watch.

    RIP Regis

Reg was just so... likable. so likable he could almost make you like Kathie Lee.

if television had a face it would be Regis; he set the record for most total hours on TV back in '04. can't see anyone ever touching that record.

Same thing with Kelly too. Regis and Kelly were actually good together, and you really saw how good Regis was once you saw what Kelly was like without him.

We all gotta go sometime. I thought he was excellent at whatever he did. Not Carson good but it was hard not to like the guy. RIP.

The Seinfeld team had Regis uttering "this guy's bonkos" or "bonkos" three times even with him protesting. In one of the greatest episodes of that series that string of lines clearly bombed with the audience-I'm with the audience.

                RIP Regis.

                  Re: RIP Regis

I really only knew Regis from Millionaire (then learned he had the morning show), so that's really my extent with him. That show was what it was because of him, for sure.

When Kimmel did the celebrity Millionaire during the pandemic, I was actually surprised when I found out Regis was still alive and kicking. There is some preview stuff where he jumped on the set with Jimmy and they talked it up a little, so for me this came a bit out of left field.
