    Sean Connery (1930-2020)

RIP Sir Sean Connery. My whole family loved him, watched Goldfinger and many other Bond films he was in.

Loved him in The Rock as well and many other movies he's been in. 2020 takes another legend.

I was always more a Roger Moore guy, but if Connery hadn't been excellent from the first Bond film, we probably would have never gotten a Moore Bond, or a Daniel Craig Bond for that matter

I think every movie o have watched him in has been excellent. He will always have a voice that is recognizable. I was reminded of a movie today that has him in it and will definitely have to rewatch: Finding Forrester. I remember that being such a great movie and will have to try and watch that again.

Nah. Roger Moore was The Saint not James Bond. I think Craig is closer to what Fleming had in mind but Connery was the ****.

A legend for sure. My favorite Bond, A Bridge to Far, The Rock, Finding Forester. So many fantastic performances.

Have never actually seen any of the James Bond films he was in, but The Rock, The Untouchables, and The Last Crusade? Yeah, he stole the scenes in all of those. RIP.

If he wasn't in The Rock, the movie probably wouldn't have been as good. Whenever you hear, "Welcome To The Rock" you can always picture Connery saying it.

And even though Ford was excellent in the Last Crusade, having Connery is what pushed it to the top.

He was just an overall talented actor and definitely one of the few who was just natural in any role.

You have to watch at least Goldfinger. Then after that if you liked it, Dr. No. (First Bond film) or From Russia with Love.

Saw Goldfinger and Thunderball and also remember him from Finding Forrester which we had to watch in High School.

                      RIP.

one of my favorite quotes and scenes from any Indiana Jones film also happens to be one of my favorite quotes/scenes from any Sean Connery film:

‘‘Suddenly I remembered my Charlemagne, 'Let my armies be the rocks and the trees and the birds in the sky' ’’
