I don’t think Spider man makes a Billion but it’ll be close. All depends if China plays it.

Philippines hasn’t even open one theater yet but hopefully by Christmas they’ll open. Would love to see this in IMAX

Yeah, I got mine for early Friday.

Tickets were supposed to release at 12:01 AM ET, and instead they went live closed to like 11:54 PM ET. I'll tell you what, I was ready at that time. I went in, ordered them, and then... boom, error. Then for two hours I encountered struggles of errors, waiting in queues, the works. Never was able to order any tickets last night after trying that long, and even trying a few hours after that.

I finally got some early this morning, but not on Thursday and not a premium kind of screen.

The theater I usually go to usually waits until the next day to release their tickets to avoid the mess that was last night. The released them about 10:00am this morning or so. Got tickets for the 6:10 showing on Thursday!!!

Took me like 3 hours and 30 minutes last night to get tickets to go threw. Just keep getting loading screens and also would not load up the graph to pick seats by the time I got it the tickets where almost sold out but was able to get 7 pm showing tickets on December 16th.

I screwed up when seeing this. I accidentally walked into the wrong theater (the person at the front misdirected me), and caught a showing that was halfway through. By the time I found out, I was spoiled things I rather wouldn't have wanted to know without context.

This very well may have hampered my viewing when I saw it in full. It was good, quite good in fact... but I wish I could also say it was cream-of-the-crop excellent, and I can't get that "first viewing" stuff back.

I can't believe I screwed that up, avoiding trailers and everything.

Re: Spider-Man: No Way Home (December 17, 2021)

Saw this opening night on Thursday at 7pm. Was nice to have a packed house first time in like 2 years with lock downs and limited seating we had the last year or so with covid. There where a few moments where people cheered. Really fell spoiled to be a spiderman fan right now with what we have gotten between home coming, far from home, no way home, spiderman ps4, Spiderman miles Morales and into the spider verse sense 2017 and with knowing we are getting across the universe next year and part 2 of that in 2023 and spiderman 2 in 2023 on ps5.

I need to see this again before I can rank it but spiderman 2 is still my favorite for sure. Like all 3 of these movies a lot in this trilogy but the side characters are not has good has they where in spiderman 1-3. Willem Dafoe just killed it has the goblin. Was not expecting what happened at the very end of the movie to happen. Lots of interesting things that Marvel/Sony can do going forward now that we know Tom is coming back for another trilogy of movies. Very entertaining movie and can't wait to see what they do going forward in the next 3 movies with tom. I have a few ideas of things they could do/things I hope for. The 2 and a half hours went by pretty fast almost fell like it could have been 3 hours to give the villains even a little more screen time. A lot was going on in this movie like spiderman 3 but was balanced like a 100 times better.

I also got to add the last 2 movies I have loved loved how Spiderman's spider sense was used. It was something that was kind of not used a lot before the last 2 movies and has always been a big part of his power set. The way its been used in the last 2 movies really good stuff.

I think Homecoming is a better Spider-Man movie, and Spider-Man 2 is more impressive because it didn’t have the benefit of standing on the shoulders of giants, but I think they capitalized on the advantages they had in a really cool way here so it’s more enjoyable than those 2 in a lot of ways. Spider-Verse is just untouchable though, that’s a perfect movie top to bottom for me.

This movie was great. Nostalgia, payoffs long overdue, and hope for the future. It was great all around.
