    Gilbert Gottfried 1955-2022

He was one of the best guests on the Stern show, just 67 years old. R.I.P.

Man, this year really sucks for comedians.

He was at his best on the Howard Stern Show. So many classic appearances....his impersonations were spot-on. One time I saw him walking on 5th Avenue here in NYC. His knapsack was almost as big as he was. R.I.P.

Hollywood Squares was so much fun. I'm surprised of all the game shows and remakes we see, this one wasn't one of them.

A few years back the Game Show Network aired reruns when it was Tom Bergeron and Whoppi Goldberg, so I got to relive the Gottfried episodes too. It was funnier than I remembered.

It felt like at one point he was everywhere. I swear I've seen him making guest appearances in at least several shows I watched in the 90s/early 00s.

Mr. Gottfried was never my cup of tea but there's no denying how popular or influential he was

His performance at the roast of Roseanne is one often more iconic performances that I have of him.
