    The Flash (2023)

Personally, I was shocked and appalled to see that I never started a thread for this movie.

    Now that there's a trailer, it's a good time for a thread.

Avoiding the trailer, but word from some insiders is this movie is amazing and one of the best superhero movies ever made.

I mean, that's almost word for word what James Gunn (who is now running DC) said about it.

“Can I say one more thing? The Flash is ****ing amazing. Like it's one of the best superhero movies I've ever seen. [Director] Andy Muschietti did an amazing job.”

Hmm, interesting. Those must be recent words since he just jumped on board with DC. These words have been said since last year, though. The movie has been complete for a long time.

Glad after the Ezra BS, the movie wasn't shelved and has a release date. Definitely seeing it!

              Re: The Flash (2023)

Honestly, seeing Michael Keaton say "Im Batman" gave me goosebumps. Going to have to re-watch his Batman movies.

I am excited to see this movie. I am not sure I like the direction that Gunn proprosed a few weeks for DC, but I will just have to trust his process and see how it turns out. I was a big fan of Snyder's vision (especially his cut of Justice League) but now its Gunn's turn and we will see how he takes it after The Flash movie. Especially since he says it resets the DC Universe.

Basically the same thing that happened after the Flashpoint comic and then we got the New 52 series comics. If only we could get a Batman movie (or series) that would follow Scott Snyder's run from New 52

What are the betting odds of Ezra getting arrested or screwing up again before the movie?

I'm going to say slim to none. I bet that Zaslav, Gunn, etc. have really put a lid on them in every way imaginable. They're probably put away in a hole somewhere right now.

                  Anything is possible, of course.
