Good for Kenzie. I thought her game cooled off but she had the connection with people including the two Yanu on the jury and she even got Maria to swing her vote to her. Charlie had a solid game but just wasn’t stand out enough. He was too background, kept his options too open.

Maria not voting Charlie was a shock. We could've had a 4-4 tie!

Crazy how close it was because Maria didn't vote Charlie and Tevin was so undecided too even when voting. It easily could've been 5-3 Charlie, but a 4-4 tie still would've led to Kenzie winning.

But Q not voting Ben like I said was a surprise. His question asking who needs the money really made me think even more he's leaning towards Ben since Ben likely needed it the most of them all.

Tiffany for sure was voting Kenzie, Venus likely swaying that way too.

Soda was gone so early I had no idea who she was voting for.

Tevin really seemed undecided and the answers to his questions it felt like Charlie had the best one for him.

Liz, who knows with her either.

Hunter I felt like he was voting Kenzie because his relationship with her led to him not playing the idol and he got voted out, but he voted Charlie.

      The whole thing was crazy.

Don't typically comment but hearing that Q and Maria voted for Kenzie because she "deserved" the money more while never openly saying she played a better game was a let down. It was obvious it would be between them and not overly disappointed she won but using the logic someone deserves the money more as an excuse for your vote was disappointing.

I know people didn't like that, but this has literally been a reason since season 1. We don't see every season have a juror who votes that way, but we do sometimes see it.

It's like if you took Liz or a pro athlete to the finals with you. Are you NOT gonna use the whole "___ has millions, I don't. The money can help my parents retire and I can start a family." type of answer?

The thing though is that if they were voting for who deserved it more, Ben technically would be the one they should've voted for (which is why I'm surprised by Q's vote). Charlie is on the path to become a lawyer, Kenzie has her own business (though seems like she invests everything into it so she doesn't have much) and Ben seems to be the "starving musician" type of person (not actually starving/living in a van type of thing, but still).

I'm surprised a bit if Q only just found out Kenzie was forced to start working at 15 (maybe didn't finish high school or did so later on?) and did all those things when I'm sure she would've talked about it during the game, especially being on Yanu with her from the start and there was literally days where it was only the 3 of them on Yanu.

Yeah, Kenzie had mentioned earlier in the season that she started working and supporting herself very young. Q just doesn’t make sense sometimes, lol.

I think who needs it should be a factor (actually mainly who DOESN’T need it), but most of the weight in my vote would be for their gameplay driving votes, performance in challenge, and social game and strategy.

Q said he was voting Charlie but the answers changed his vote. So he definitely seemed to have reasons for voting either person, was almost undecided (barely going with Charlie) so that question was probably ONE of the reasons(and turned into the deciding factor) for his vote.

                Re: Survivor 46

I’m still mad how they did Maria. I keep thinking back to Terry and his dominant run and how the best always fall short because it’s ****ing impossible to win every immunity once you’re pegged as the top dog. Of course the best of the best are conspired against, but the way it went down, and by who, just has left a total nasty taste in my mouth.

If Kenzie wasn’t so gracious, I think it would’ve been a lot less well received. Liz being a weird egomaniac (I think I finally leaned towards not liking her by the end) being the one who did the assist is what really bothers me. She didn’t do anything this season, always a bad performance in challenges, got the freebie rice only to turn around and do that stuff.

I want the best to go out fair and square. Running a leg of a challenge for someone else, let alone the FINAL CHALLENGE, was too much to me. They need to disqualify people who do that. I mean they DQ’ed Jake for breaking a challenge. You’re operating outside of the spirit of the game and challenge and it shouldn’t be rewarded.

It would take a very very very strong person to have given up that necklace and I don’t blame Kenzie for not (she’s likely on the block with Liz if she did), but it would’ve been the right thing to do. I probably would’ve yelled at Liz to stop what she was doing instead of letting it go as far as it did. I don’t want to win by essentially cheating and as far as I know, that wasn’t a planned team-up. Kenzie got caught in between.

Liz took that million out of Maria’s pocket and put it in Kenzie’s. Survivor is crazy and stuff happens but that just felt beyond the pale for me.

I think it was last season or season before where during tribal immunity one tribe literally helped the other one win so the 3rd tribe finally goes to tribal.

I stopped watching the final episode at that point and put it on fast forward. That should have been an automatic eviction from the game and no immunity win. If Survivor doesn't change this, I may stop watching.

Amazing Race has gone downhill since they allowed helping other teams in challenges.

Allowing alliance help in an individual immunity challenge is a terrible step. It will make it worse than big brother with no one wanting to do anything.

                    Re: Survivor 46

Cue James "I'm no longer the dumbest survivor ever" meme.

Liz could perhaps take that crown.

She admitted she LIED about being a millionaire to REDUCE her threat level. That's literally one of the stupider things you can admit on a show where you're playing with regular people who are mainly doing it because they want to win life-changing money.

I still wonder about her allergy stuff. I don't believe she lied about being allergic to so many things, but perhaps she exaggerated stuff too? Just seems so weird how she can't basically go to 80% of all rewards, yet can eat the Applebee's menu? And she also can't eat pasta either? She doesn't know what kind of pasta, she just says she can't eat any pasta at all?

Big Brother I believe it's against the rules to help during challenges, but the game does have a serious alliance issue where it's too easy for an alliance to control the game and everyone "votes with the house" which makes it boring.

Amazing Race alliance strategy is also one which shouldn't happen. Even though they were teams I liked, I found the alliance helping this past season to be insane. One puzzle challenge the person who solved it literally went and stood by the other people's puzzle telling them exactly where every piece goes.

Liz helping Kenzie is one thing, but she literally went and grabbed Kenzies part of the challenge and brought it to her! If she just went, counted, then came back to Kenzie and told her the number, that's at least different since Liz could've miscounted herself or lied about the number (which would be Kenzies fault for trusting that info).

This is where i am. Helping is one thing. Running a whole leg of the challenge is another. She still messed up the count too, lol

I wonder who would've actually won though. Everyone did say Maria would've won, but would Kenzie have realized she needed to run all the way back to find the thing she needed to count? She was technically in 1st place before Liz started helping.

I didn't really like any of these people at the end, maybe Kenzie for helping Ben with his night terrors throughout the season, but other than that, woof, Charlie I guess was decent, but damn he **** all over himself at final tribal. Kenzie didn't really sell herself well either. I got the impression if she made fire she'd win, if she didn't Charlie would win

It's annoying it comes down to that. The ganging up against Maria was BS, Liz basically trying to make a future Villain season, as if she didn't already have it locked in

It would've been cool if Q had made it to the end just to hear his responses to jury, he's a great quote. Nobody else had anything

                            Re: Survivor 46

Yet another reason to hate the fan bases of reality shows, with it being on the likes of a star wars, comic book, sports, wrestling kind of fandom. If anything its probably worse since at least those things the celebs are actually celebs and have at least some money to their name.

Survivor cast has been dealing with a lot from the fan base after this past season. Maria taking a huge amount of heat (idiots doing the typical "sending hate mail, contacting her employer" types of things), people trying to meet Kenzie at her business and trying to be customers just to meet her to the point she had to hire security to deal with them disrupting her business. Others have faced annoying fans too.

It's at the point where Kenzie (and likely others) don't want to come back if asked simply because they don't want to deal with this fan base again. Not that she'd be asked back, I don't really see winners being asked back any time soon, the returnee season should be people who didn't win. But it's just ridiculous what they're going through. That's one of the reasons it sucks being a "reality show celebrity". You get all this fame for little to none of the money. At least if you're some athlete being harassed by fans, you have money to go with that fame. Either get security or accept that this is the price of being rich and famous. Reality show players literally just go back to their exact same life before the show.
