Re: The Traitors (Peacock)
That's what I like about this show. I don't care for the challenges most of the time though I'm liking that this season they have more strategic elements to it as it relates to the Shield and how people can get it/who can get it. Seeing the strategic element of the game and the scheming and seeing people who should be trusting people not trust them because of paranoia, it's line watching a whole hour of Survivor tribal councils.Comment

The Traitors (Peacock)
Yeah I’m hooked on this show now. These traitors have made the most devious traitors triangle ever, lol.
Danielle is so obvious, but that’s also because we know. Eventually as Carolyn continues to move on, they will wise up to her. She’s not dumb. All of it stems from Rob being such an obvious target, so he keeps having to pull every lever at his disposal to get the default spotlight off him and that’s caused division within the traitors to the point that it might as well be every one for themselves.
Dylan has played the most intelligent game, but I imagine that will bite him in the *** soon. He wasn’t right on his last vote, but he seems to be the only one really thinking through the whole game. Him and Wells would’ve made a good team. Wells was just a bit too upfront about his reasoning and it raised red flags.
I have to guess a traitor will be recruited soon. But I think one of these current traitors goes at next roundtable. I think it’ll be Danielle even as everyone wants to vote Rob, he’ll make an obvious case. If it fails, and it likely will, Danielle could be free to waltz to the money after escaping his crosshairs AND him being revealed. Rob might gain some confidence if he makes it through and Danielle goes but not as much as other way around. I very much believe the next roundtable will have all 3 traitors as the main nominees.Last edited by slickdtc; 02-05-2025, 12:48 PM.NHL - Philadelphia Flyers

If Rob is 2/2 in traitor vote offs, that'll definitely raise suspicion even more that his shots are really hitting perfectly (outside of Wes, but that was a defensive move).
Though the tricky part of this game, what are people going to think. Vote out Danielle then it's "How did you know she was a traitor just like Bob, so you must be one to be that confident." and if he doesn't then it's all "why did you want to keep her? Unless you knew she was a traitor and you wanted to protect her because you're one too."Comment

Re: The Traitors (Peacock)
Murdering Derrick is risky but that is also a typical Boston Rob move, but he's playing it more like Survivor than Traitors. A big move doesn't matter in the end if nobody's voting for a winner, but like Will on Deal or no deal island, I think he knows he's not winning no matter what so just survive as long as possible while making the most memorable/fun moments.
He did have to murder Derrick though because if I'm Rob, I'd rather face the backlash/suspicion and use the "Why would I do something that raises such obvious flags on me?" over having Derrick strategizing to get him out the next day.
And Carolyn almost jumped fully out of her seat when she didn't realize Alan was right behind her at the roundtable.
You knew he'd be banished eventually. Coming into this game with a target bigger than anyone else, no way he's lasting until the end. Some players can fly under the radar because less people know who they are (like Carolyn) but anyone who knows Survivor knows Boston Rob.
Based on who's up for murder, I think their best move is getting out Tom. Try framing Dylan a bit now since people know Rob was a traitor and Dylan was his ally and wasn't aligned with Tom and tried getting Brittney out.Last edited by Majingir; 02-08-2025, 08:36 PM.Comment

Re: The Traitors (Peacock)
Danielle's gameplay will definitely cost her the game eventually.
Feels like she maybe knows it too so she wants Brittany as a Traitor to get rid of Carolyn to redeem herself (everyone suspects a woman is a traitor, so if Danielle recruits her friend and offers up Carolyn, that could help her. And if it doesn't, at least she has a shot to get Brittany the win).
Speaking of Brittany, her confessionals this past episodes were her classic style. Over the top at times with lots of pettiness and shade.Comment

Re: The Traitors (Peacock)
Danielle is cooked. She’s got enough people with an inkling, and eventually the signs will all point to her. I liked them bringing up that Jeremy suspected Danielle, then got axed in a coffin. They followed the coffin theory all the way down and were wrong, now they have to trace their steps back a bit and if they tug on the thread Jeremy started… Carolyn is totally shielded by her shadiness and unsuspected. Waiting on someone to just take a chance (Dylan??) but it will be hard to convince others of Carolyn. I think it’ll happen fast when it does, though. This next traitor recruit will be a big turning point for either of the current traitors.NHL - Philadelphia Flyers

But I'm surprised that Carolyn survived the breakfast interrogation. Was that just editing to make her look stupid again, or did she really stumble that much not knowing what Alan was wearing (which she obviously should know since Alan's "Traitors" clothes is the same all black look that she's obviously seen before, so if anything she should know it better than anyone).
But at the same time, that was a great strategy, from Sam of all people, knowing Alan wouldn't have to tell a traitor they're safe so the traitor if they're in that group wouldn't know exactly how the scene was set up. I wonder if it's like Big Brother where you can't talk about production. Because I'm sure that scene was set up/scripted by production where they told the players to say a small piece before turning around, and presumably a specific producer would also tell them to not turn around until they say so, all of which are questions they'd probably ask at breakfast too (like which producer told you to turn around).Comment

Re: The Traitors (Peacock)
Really think they need to do non celebrities. Or at least half.
I know America is gonna want recognizable faces, but for the life of me I hate all these people and don't give a **** about what happens at all.
Why didn't they proceed with Sam's great idea about the clothing? How dumb. Nobody even used that as evidence against Crackilyn.
And why the **** does Kate keep showing up. Does she have nothing to do? She wasn't *that* interesting.
Ready for this to be over.Comment

I've liked this season, but the faithful are stupid. You said you want something like half and half, but ironically, this season is reminding me of Traitors Canada s2 where it was a half and half split and despite that, its playing out the exact same way this one is. No traitor that season got banished at the hands of the faithful, it was their fellow traitor who pushed for them to go and that's exactly what has happened here.Comment

Re: The Traitors (Peacock)
Yup. This show is starting to just be about traitor drama rather than traitor on faithful. Not sure how to fix that part.Comment

Re: The Traitors (Peacock)
I think they need to get rid of the recruitment. Of course you'll turn on a traitor you don't like if it means you can get your friend in there.
Last season on Traitors Canada, the already unfair advantage of a traitor having a brother who was a faithful also led to that traitor trying to get the other traitors banished so that they could recruit their brother and they could win together.
And now this season, Danielle has been trying to get Brittney recruited as a traitor for a few weeks now because she wants her friend to win with her rather than going up against Carolyn.Comment

Re: The Traitors (Peacock)
I hate that we didn’t get to see what happened at the round table and have to wait until next week. But I think it’s obvious.
Faithful got this. Dylan and Ivar are obvious faithful, and by now I think Dylan has taken his sights off Gabby and figured out Danielle and by extension Britney. Those guys have played a solid game if not always right they were thinking through the game and not blindly throwing names out there.NHL - Philadelphia Flyers
