Obviously its still early to tell, but Genevieve has emerged as one of the bigger people so far. People giving her Kim/Parvati comparisons which is as good as it gets (though it's partially just based on her looks/voice being similar to them).

I think the Sam/Sierra duo that everyone has been obsessed with talking about will eventually get split. Based on the intro video, perhaps Sierra is the one going to fire in the F4? Don't think anyone is keeping both around that long so Sam probably gone before that.

My current F3 guess based on the edit (which doesn't mean much at all) is Genevieve, Andy, Sierra.

Although Kyle has been good so far too (partially because he reminds me and most people of Ian from Palau). And Caroline I could see going far even though so far she has felt like just your average person thrown into the crazy world of Survivor.

Yup, these are probably all the power players so far for different reasons. Huge Kim vibe from Gen, but it’s been almost 25 seasons since then so I don’t think she lasts. Just seems to be too obvious.

Kyle seemed obvious as a physical threat but with the way the season has gone, he’s seemed to fly under the radar. Odd. A couple individual immunities can change the perception real quick though.

Nobody seems like an obvious weak link right now. The “weakest” one so far has probably been Andy with his lack of saw-cutting and early drama, but he helped orchestrate Anika’s departure and staked his claim to it, so besides his tribe I don’t think the rest really see him as the outcast and he’s acquiring power.

This thing is up for grabs.

The one person I’m sure goes sometime is Caroline. She just has this false coldness to her. I think people will pick up on that soon and get it out.

          What a tribal!

I wonder if the actual plan was Rachel. Given how much everyone scrambled after she had the safety without power advantage (I love that power because you literally play it and just walk away from tribal), I think she was the plan, because if it was her or Gabe, plan B would've just kicked in right away.

Between Rachel, Gabe and Tiyana, I'm glad Tiyana was the one gone because I want the other 2 to go further, but what a devastating vote off that was. We've seen people obviously upset/crying when voted off before, but this one felt deeper because she didn't get blindsided by everyone at tribal, it was only half the people there while the other half had no input, can't say anything, didn't vote, but are still playing the game too so its not like she's just joining that half on the jury, the game continues for everyone.

I loved the double take of Sol looking and realizing where the advantage was lol

it'll be interesting to see how he navigates the questions when they reconvene next week. He was solid in looking around at tribal wondering who it was (a little too solid ) they're gonna want to know who had it and why they weren't included with the info

The advantage play was tough. I kind of figured there'd be an advantage at a split immunity challenge/reward, but he was probably hoping the advantage was an idol.

That way you just keep it for yourself and nobody needs to know when/where you found it. But when its an advantage you need to give to someone else right away, it's probably tough sharing it with people being like "Guess what, I found this advantage earlier but I only now want to share it with you since I found out it needs to be used now, and on someone else."

I love when they bring the auction back. Doesn't mean it needs to happen every season, but once a "cycle" (since they have 2 every tv year, just do 1 auction per year) would be nice. Still some tweaks to be made, I hate how everyone sees their total money count, it takes away from the suspense/strategy of planning if you should spend your money or not. Once that 4th or 5th item drops, it's basically just one by one from the top down people spending their remaining money.

The Tribal was shocking again. Rachel plays her SITD the most strategic way anyone has ever played that. Played it to save herself, worst case she's not safe but now she sees how people reacted to it (if people were nervous before and/or relieved after, she knows it's because they voted her) which allows her to decide on her idol play.

Everyone says Sam and Sierra are dangerous, I think it's only because of the numbers. Neither I'd put in the top 3 best players remaining going in to this episode. On that note, Kyle has been playing a good game but all those immunity wins is likely gonna cost him. He's definitely the kind of guy you want to root for to win, he feels like the underdog good guy despite being the one winning challenges.

I'm curious why Sam made a point about abstaining from meat rewards and then joined the grub eating challenge. Grubs aren't meat? he even lost his vote over that

Kyle was more an impulsive thing.

You're starving, you're on Survivor, you get to play in one of the most memorable comps in the auction, you get hyped up about an auction win, then find out you can't eat half....unless you just go for it. It's a shame Jeff didn't allow him to trade. Give him the "trade what you just won for (insert future desert item)". They'd probably accommodate if he didn't eat it for religious reasons (BB once had a ham punishment where thats all a person could eat, but the person who got it was muslim so they had to provide an alternative substitute), but seems like he just doesn't eat meat for personal reasons.

Although, if you have certain things you can or can't eat, maybe don't bid on something you don't know? Like Liz last year, it's one of the reasons for her meltdown. She couldn't eat most reward items but the one time she could have, she didn't get picked.

They done ****ed up not getting Kyle off when they had the chance! 3 straight immunities and then was in the final 2 for this last one. I hope he wins out and they never have a chance to vote him off but that never happens.

I think a lot of people have some claim to the title right now. Only one that I think is out of it is Teeny and I think she’ll get taken to the final if she doesn’t screw herself.

My final 3 is Genevieve, Caroline and Sue. They had a shot of those 3 on the beach at one point and it just made sense to me. Genevieve is my odds on fav. I feel like she’s playing hard as hell without being overly obvious about it. She reminds me of Kim.

He got off to a rocky start but Andy has a major claim to the title if he gets to the final. He’s been such a main character of the show while his original tribemates thought he was cannon fodder. After the Sam/Sierra split, I don’t think they (just Rachel and Sam now I believe) think that anymore.

Sol wasn’t a bad pick last night, just wouldn’t have been the one I would’ve gone for.

Kyle is a mix between Ian and JT. He just feels too likable to not win if he gets to the finals.

Kyle would've been the smart choice to get rid of, but Sue should've been the 2nd choice. How do you leave that tribe with strong numbers for another week?

Teeny feels like an possible f3 person who gets 0 votes. Although I felt that way about Sue too.

Based on Sierras reaction to her, Caroline perhaps could be viewed as the evil strategist (but I don't see her owning that if she makes f3).

Gabe and Sam I don't see getting votes in the end either, they haven't stood out as playing a huge game despite people saying they're threats. Although, Gabe is the only person who has voted correctly at every single tribal (Caroline has also voted correctly, but she lost her vote this week so I don't count that as a perfect voting history anymore). On the flipside of that, Sol I believe has the worst voting history (of all jury members)? Other than the Kishan vote, everyone he voted out (minus Sierra, but that was the revote where he initially voted Sam) didn't leave.

Andy could be a dark horse if he makes it to the end, being the 1 person who can say they literally had their lowest moment of the season play out infront of every single person on the jury.

Genevieve is another obvious name who should be a contender to win.

Rachel so far wouldn't win either, but I think the moment people find out she has/had an idol AND could've played it but used the SITD to gauge reactions would be a very big move.

Yeah players like Rachel don’t have anything major on their resume right now, but her surviving the one tribal and then this strategic use of the SITD is a foundation she can build on. If she masterminds a blindside, gets an immunity or two, all the sudden she’s a front runner as others with more impressive resumes are voted out.

You don’t have to be the best of all players, just have to be the best of those who remain at the end.

It’s eye opening and shows how much we really don’t know the real vibe of the tribe when people are going hard after players the viewers don’t see as a major threat. People hold grudges like crazy too, lol.

Caroline I think can be read like a book once people start paying attention to her more. She just looks calculating, kind of like Emily from S45 but without her opening her mouth to put the target on herself, ha.

                            Re: Survivor 47

                            Interesting move by Survivor/CBS.

The season finale will be a 2 part episode divided between 2 weeks.

December 11th and 18th will be 2 hour episodes each.

I imagine the 18th is gonna start the morning of the final day, with the f3 now set. So you spend the next hour of the finale focusing on the final tribal and voting for a winner, then the remainder is for the post show finale.

First time in Survivor history we'll ever get a non 1 night 3 hour finale. Also sucks we won't get the live reunion show returning. I like seeing people's reaction to live reveals immediately after the game, but I like the "time to reflect/watch back the show" answers and discussion we got from the old format. If there was a way to combine both it would've been nice.

Kyle at 4 immunities is crazy.

Only 6 players in history have won 5 immunities. He's almost on the level of a Colby, Ozzy, Terry. If Kyle somehow makes the finale, he's definitely gonna be at 5, maybe 6 immunities.

They're not taking it away, they're just turning the 1 night finale into a 2 week finale. So technically it's 1 hour more of the finale, but it's 2 two hour parts instead of a single 3 hour finale.
