Ahhh, I don't remember. I'll probably watch it again to see and maybe get a laugh or two this time, haha.

Well. I may have laughed twice and chuckled a couple of times more at last night's episode.

      Wasn't the worst episode ever.

        Pretty interesting episode last night.

Reminded me a lot of the "A Shot in the Dark" episode where Peter accidentally shoots Cleveland's son.

The episode seemed like it existed to drive home a point, whether than be funny, especially the last few minutes.

I thought it was pretty spot-on with the directors. It was hilarious in the Michael Bay version when the camera spun around Peter in every which direction and he says: "This already doesn't make sense."

(this statement is only regarding the first 2/3 of the episode)

Personally, I think this was the best social commentary episode they have ever done, at least for how we are today culturally. I loved this episode about as much as I hate how overly sensitive our society is. Plus, there was a great gem with that Kingsman-like fight in the cafeteria.

Now that last third of the episode was truly something different. I wonder where it will go from here; it wasn't like most episodes where all will be "back to normal." Even the episode title is more focused on that part. I'm interested to see where it goes, but it was definitely a strange downturn.

Still, those first parts were just excellent. Everybody needs to see it, and if they are anything like any character in that episode not from the Griffin family, they deserve to be put in their place a little bit heh.

Lol, the third "movie" was probably my favorite and probably laughed the hardest at that part.

The lunchroom scene was pretty cool and then the follow up with Brian and that guy was funny too. I like that they do episodes like this every now and again, like "A Shot in the Dark".

And I'm guessing they'll go "back to normal" for the next episode, but FG really wanted to drive home the point of the episode in that third of the show.

So, it does appear this past Sunday's FG did continue from where the last one left off. It wasn't great, but there were pretty funny moments with Peter and Putin.

Yup, I was definitely wrong on that.

But I agree, okay episode. Interesting to see how how this storyline with Brian shakes out. Wonder if he'll sue since he broke his leg on the job.

Oh, I definitely laughed at some parts like that, though I think they went a bit too long (not the joke about its slowness itself but how long they were on it in editing, like they were out of ideas... probably hence the joke at the end). Also the carolers, the Ivy League puns, Lois' "subtle" flirting, Peter dancing, etc.

I really wasn't following the fact that maybe Peter actually did die but then was he given a second chance or something (from that fire thing, whatever they said), or if he was just dreaming then how did he actually teleport to what they were doing, didn't get the flash-forward to the future and where that got thrown in, etc. And I thought they were going to go to the homeless shelter (which was also funny how Brian volunteered all of them).

Also what was up with the slow-zoom on Peter's stoic face as Lois was stating everything he had to do? Maybe it's a reference to something, but I didn't catch it.

Brian and Stewie bits were hilarious in this week's episode. Don't remember laughing at any Peter, Lois & Chris stuff, except Kid Chris and Billy Joel.

I really enjoyed last night's episode. More good stuff from Stewie and Brian and I thought the ending was really well done.

Re: New Family Guy on tonight...

Stewie and Brian stuff was again superb. There was something in the beginning that I died laughing at, right before we see Peter skipping to go grocery shopping (which was the second most hilarious thing), and I can't for the life of me remember what it is. I already deleted the episode.

For good measure, Stewie ranks his F&F movies I believe as 6, 5, 7, 3, 1, 4, 2. I think I rank them as 5, 1, 3, 6, 2, 4, 7. I think F8 runs kind of nearby 6 for me. These are really more so tiered, where 5 & 1 are awesome, 3 is controversially pretty good but more like a spin-off, 6 & 8 are ridiculous but tolerable, 2 is a nice deviation from the first one but overall not great, and 4 and 7 are bottom-rung for me. 4 isn't god-awful, but I think it began the "superhero" kind of aspect of these characters and for the time it was a bad turn-off for me.

At any rate, yes the Stewie and Brian stuff was right in my wheelhouse. Great way to play off those characters. Peter and Lois's stuff again was kind of piss-poor, though. I still can't remember what that thing was that I died of laughter from. I'll have to try and find out what that was.

EDIT: Can't remember what it was anymore. Maybe it was the skipping I was laughing at and maybe I was seeing something else online and laughing at that beforehand.

Good episode tonight. Kept me engaged throughout, and although it didn't make me laugh much it didn't have to. Could have done without the snot thing, but the rest was strong writing. Interesting art direction as well with the soft focus elements and the lighting. Probably just special for this particular episode though, and not to be expected always from hereon out.

Another good social commentary episode with FG attacking the millennial crowd this time. I hate Smartphones man. The things that it does to people.

(it's actually more of a social media issue than anything else, but if they just had it on laptops the world would be a much better place)

The last two episodes have done this weird thing though where it goes to a commercial break, and then I find out that the episode ended. I sit not realizing that was the actual end of the episode, and figured there was more content to be had.
