Favorite cutaway of this current season so far:

There have been some pretty raucous moments in FG this season, but the episodes overall haven't been stellar. Some start off strong, then fall off really quickly.
Last week's was dumb in the way that they fill space for a season's episode, but still had funny bits. The Griffins all go into the studio to record a commentary for an episode from last season (so that episode actually plays on screen), and eventually the cast also "jumps in" to the commentary as well. What I mean is at times Seth MacFarlane, Alex Borstein, Seth Green and Mila Kunis actually talk to the characters, sometimes talking to the characters that they voice-over for.
