Tonight's was 10 times better than last weeks. The story was developed and played out to a reasonable conclusion, not a cop-out in the last minute. There were good laughs and it seemed like after the first commercial break they really cut down on the flashbacks to focus on the story. Some of the flashbacks were pretty good.

Re: New Family Guy on tonight...
I haven't watched the last few new eps but I watched last night's. I think it's safe to say "put a fork in it". Yes, i'll commend the writers for having a well developed story without cop-out endings and whatnot but the humour was....lacking.

Another new one tonight. I believe the 8:30 one is a repeat but the 9PM one is new.Comment

I liked it. The New Family Guy's are so much more spot on than they seemed. The 8:30 one was new to me since I don't watch it as often but it was pretty funny. It was pretty tight on teh real. Looking forward to the next one.......Comment

I agree. It's the first time in a long time that I was really not laughing at all and I mean at all. Terrible, terrible, terrible episode.Comment

Re: New Family Guy on tonight...
I think they did a pretty decent job with it. I've come to the realization that this Family Guy is more along the lines of goofiness for a goodtime instead of trying to get the greatest life lesson out of it every week. It's a doozy to be doing this type of stuff. Just makes sense to sit back and laugh at the stupidity that is put before us. It's made for laughter.......Comment

I agree and I am one of those that always defends family guy when someone says it sucks or whatever, but I just didn't laugh more than a few times, some jokes seemed forced. But I'm sure next week will be back on track.Comment

The new one was one of the worst episodes I've ever seen in my life. Here's hoping American Dad is better.Comment

I got to say, my favorite show was a stinker tonight, except for a few of the politcally incorrect jokes. Heres hoping next weeks is better."Basketball may have been born in Massachusetts, but it grew up in Indiana." - James NaismithComment
