The best bit today was the Wings rant, since Wings is my favorite sitcom of all-time, it was that much better.

The rest was pretty bad, but I didn't really pay full attention.

My thoughts? They need to re-cancel Family Guy.

But it's like a bad train wreck, you can't help but watch these new episodes when they are on.

It's like when the owner of the Cleveland Browns moves his franchise to Baltimore, then the people of Cleveland cry out for their team. The when they get a new team, certain seem to forget that all those former players aren't there, and complain about it. People will always find something to complain about, and others, like sheep, will follow suit cuz it seems like the thing to do. I am not singling you out TheMatrix31, but I understand if you think I am.

Personally, I think the new Family guy episodes are as good as the first 3 seasons. It's not like every episode of the first three seasons were complete and total gems. There were high points and low points in every episode of each season. Now that the show is back, it's like people expect every single line to make them slap their knees.

The show is doing great in my opinion. I find it no less funny than I did when I first started watching those years back. I am older, a little more mature, and still love Family Guy. You ask that it be re-canceled? It's FOX, don't you know the horror they would unleash if they canceled it again? Fox isn't known for quality shows, and Family Guy is a rare occurrence on that network. The same goes for American Dad, and the Simpsons; yes the Simpsons.

I don't know, to me, it just seems like they're trying too hard. The first few episodes of the "new run" were pretty funny, and all was well. Then they brought around American Dad, and I think this is where the true downfall happened. Not that American Dad is a bad show, it's actually quite hilarious. The issue now is, it's even funnier than Family Guy. It seems like they're focusing on the writing for American Dad rather than Family Guy, which is understandable since they're trying to make that show big as well.

I DEFINITELY find the first seasons much funnier than the recent run, but hey, humor is subject to interpretation.

I enjoy the shows now that they're back....

Favorite scene from this week's show: While they're sitting in the Beer Tub and they're having the "Wings" discussion....the cop's legs continuously floating to the surface and him having to push them down. Sick & wrong...but funny.

Oh...and the song at the end: "Cars"

All this time I thought I was alone in thinking American Dad was actually better than Family Guy. However last night The Simpsons had one of its best episodes in 3-4 years, I am hoping it can regain a little magic for a final run, which seems to be coming. It is contracted through what, 2008?

I thought all 3 of those shows had very good episodes last night IMO... although the Simpsons movie trailer was stupid.
