Anyway, my excitement is directly tied to the fact that we know almost nothing concrete about this console. While some are frustrated by the secrecy/privacy of Nintendo, I consider it intriguing.
I am not a Nintendo "fanboy". I owned an NES(ok, everyone did), but I never had an SNES, any Gameboy variety, or an N64. I only had my Gamecube for a short time before I got rid of every piece of gaming equipment that I own. In that short time, I realized that I am mostly in line with Nintendo's overarching philosophy. I love the exclusives, don't care much about online play(although I think it should be included-I had Xbox live, but used it mostly for roster downloads-only played NCAA 2005 and Halo 2 a few times, and cancelled it 5 months before my 49.95 year was up), and I feel it's games are engrossing and innovative, with "good enough" graphics for me. And I'm no "kiddy" playing on a 13 incher, I'm a 23 year old that had my Xbox hooked up with component cables to my HDTV and surround sound.
Add to this the recently released pictures, and the fact that it seems like there will be some innovative features of the console, along with a comparatively low price point(I don't game enough anymore to justify $400 dollars to get my console set up), makes me most excited for the Revolution. Anyone with me?
