Im trying to connect through my wireless laptop? We have a wireless router at my house? The internet for my laptop works fine can you connect like this? We have a cable connection? Thank you

The Xbox does not, out of the box, have wireless.

You should connect a network cable from the Xbox to the router.

If you need to connect your Xbox wirelessly, you'd need something like this:

Well I got a ethernet cord from my xbox to my laptop? Is that not goinng to do it? Dose it need to go to a modem and not my laptop(its online through wifi)? Thanks fossen

No - a cord from the Xbox to your laptop won't do it.

You need a cord from your Xbox to your router.

Got ya thanks!, do i need a cord to my main router in my house or could i buy some kind of router for my laptop then connect it or is that stupid?

Actually it will if you have a wireless connection with your laptop. If you pick up a crossover cable from like Best Buy, Circuit City, or even Radioshack and enable internet connection sharing on your laptop you can play it that way. Here is a link to some directions:

since you have a router, you just need the Wireless Bridge: http://www.linksys.com/splash/wetxbox.asp

It plugs into the wall near your xbox and you run a cable (cable is included) from the Bridge to your xbox. You have to plug it in directly to your router first to set everything up.
