For those who said "Both," how do you find the time to play that much? I could definitely find games to play on both consoles but dont think I'd be able to play them enough to justify spending the $800 or so for two consoles.

I might get both, but I doubt I'd keep them at the same time... I'm gonna pre-order the 360, and since PS3 won't be out till later, maybe I'll get it a little while after launch. Then I'll probably make a judgment as to which one best suits my sports gaming needs.

That makes more sense but I'd be too worried about a game I wanted coming out on the console I sold. I guess if you're only using it for sports games that doesn't matter.

I'll get 360 on launch day. Then I'll get PS3 on launch day.
Then I'll get the revolution on launch day.

Yeah... I can't remember the last time I played a game that wasn't sports related.

Im getting both (probably) but if I had to choose one it would be 360. Sports, FPS and Online is what I play and 360 should be great with all three.

Right now Im leaning PS3. Im a sucker for power but with technology growing and times passing online play will be a big factor. Since there is still about 5 months left before the 360 comes out I have plenty of time to think weather i should get the 360 at launch. But It's only 1 and done for me. I dont got the dough like some of you guys have.

I'll be travelling until Jan. 2006, so I'll definitely be coming on these forums to see what everyone's reaction to the 360 is. If it's overwhelmingly positive, I'll pick one up. If not, I'll wait for the PS3 and then re-evaluate things.

I'm also wondering if those people who are buying both, are doing so for non-sports titles. I'm a sports gamer only....all the major ones, soccer, driving, etc...

Anyone think that Konami would make Winning Eleven a PS3 exclusive? That would make my decision easier.

I would think Winning Eleven will be on both systems since it was on both the Box and the PS. Its such a great franchise I dont see the Box letting Sony take exclusive rights from them.

I'll buy 360 at launch and PS3 after the first price drop or when a must-have exclusive comes out. The interesting question for me is which console I'll play the cross platform games on.

I bought the PS2 at launch and the XBOX after it dropped to $199. But after that I bought all my multi-platform games for the XBOX due to: better graphics, better controller (IMO), hard drive, and better online. For the next gen, I expect the PS3 will have better graphics and I expect that I'll probably prefer the 360 controller. I'm not sure about the other differences yet. So, it could be pretty tough to decide which console to buy the multi-platform games for.

Haven't decided if I'm going to get any yet, but most likely the 360. I'll probably wait until the price goes down, I need to save some money for college.
