I just want to say i love the Boltgun. Watching people fly into the wall behind them when you hit them is awesome. It just sucks everyone camps the damn gun spawn. Easy way to rack up kills though (especially if you're a scout, which i love to play)

Guerrilla Games’ Seb Downie has said that the celebrated developer is ready to take a breather from all things Killzone 2, having just polished off another batch of downloadable content for the critically acclaimed shooter in the form of yesterday's Napalm & Cordite Pack.

“Right now we’re going to take a step back from Killzone 2,” Downie said on the EU PlayStation Blog. “We’ve been working non-stop since the disc version was released on patches, DLC and killzone.com updates, so need some time to reflect on what is actually out there.”

While Downie’s comments do not outright confirm that the company has no plans for any further DLC, they do seem to imply that fans will have a bit of a wait on their hands before anything else is released.

Fair enough. They seem to have supported the game quite well since release. They can take a break I guess.

I am seriously considering trading this game in. It's great, but I'm having a blast with Battlefield and picking up CoD 4 today. Those two will most likely hold me over until MW2 comes out.

I know I'm about 10 years late on this, but I finally bought this game for $35 from a guy on Craigslist. Playing through the campaign mode right now and am extremely impressed. A lot of fun and the visuals are amazing. I should have bought this game a long time ago.

I'm kinda in the same boat. I've been trolling the web looking for a good deal on this game. I have a feeling I'm going to feel the same way when I finally do get it.

picked-up a ps3 this week. Have not viewed/played Killzone 2 yet. On the first page of this thread, the following question was asked. And it is my exact question as well:

"Was just checking out that Killzone original trailer that was put up at about 4 E3s ago. Do any of your guys have any new thoughts and ideas about that trailer compared to the actual game?"


in other words, technically/graphically, did the final game live up to the original Killzone demo shown at E3 4 yrs ago???

Not quite. But imo it is the best looking game ever created. Must buy for any PS3 owner.
