when does the demo go up for the preorders? Is it Monday the 2nd?

Euro Killzone 2 demo on PSN Thursday Feb.5th!!!!
Sony has said that the European Killzone 2 playable demo will be made available through the PlayStation Store this Thursday, 5th February.
The demo consists of the first two sections of Corinth River, which is the first proper level of the game, so you'll finally get to run through the beach landing and warehouse sequence that's formed the basis of so many previews.
There's also a tutorial - the same one that features in the main game.AKA DEEJAY8595Comment

CVG Review - 8.7Killzone 2's been hyped waaaay, too much, of course. And, no, it doesn't live up to the hype, because if it did it would be the greatest FPS of all time, which it isn't. But it is the best PS3-exclusive to date. Better even than LittleBigPlanet and Metal Gear Solid 4. Two years into the console's life cycle, the undoubted graphical potential of the machine has been realised - Killzone 2 unleashes the power of the PS3 - nothing on any console comes close. The sheer OMG!-ness of the experience makes Killzone 2 worth buying a PS3 for. And, given how much they cost, that's one hell of a compliment.
Verdict
Spectacular from start to finish. It doesn't innovate (and no co-op is a cop out) but its visual prowess and insane action make Killzone 2 unmissable.

I am from Canada and pre-ordered the game from EB Games and got a demo code voucher so I can get it on Feb.5. It's possible that Sony could make it available to everyone in North America if they get enough complaints.
