It may just be in my head, but I think off-brand memory cards have a slower transfer rate than Sony ones making the process of saving and loading a little bit longer. I think this is the off-brand mem card I have and it works fine...Just seems to take a little bit longer to process.

I thought I remember someone at a gaming store telling me that memory cards like this can have a tendency to lose some of your data, due to the way it compresses it.

Who knows if the guy really knew what he was talking about, but I thought I would just pass that on to you. Take it with a grain of salt.
