Just Bought A GameCube...Now What?

I picked up a Gamecube this week, basically just to play the Rogue Squadron Star Wars games. I have basically ignored the GC since it's inception. Any suggestions on cool games to pick up for this system. I'd be happy with just Star Wars.

Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes

I own a few of these, but have played all of them. You can't go wrong with any of these games. All top notch.

I don't own a GC, but RE 4 and the Metal Gear remake is almost convincing enough to pick one up. Resident Evil 4 is coming to PS2 later this year thankfully.

Yeah, honestly I just really have been wanting to play the star wars games for the longest time. And with the used systems getting so cheap now it's like deciding between a new PS2 game or a Gamecube so I just got the GC. Don't know where i'll find the time. Barely have time for the PS2. Never owned two major systems at once before (granted both are on the way out). I feel like I just crossed a line. I'll need rehab soon.

Eternal darkness is probably my favorite gamecube game to date. Its a game where a girls grandad dies from a mysterious cause and the cops just pretty much ignore it. So you go to your grandfathers mansion to look for clues, and you stumble upon this hidden room and this book. You then read about your families history (which you play) over different time periods. You play as everything from an arabian man to a man in ancient greece to a george washington looking 19th century man, etc. Along the way you find out clues to your grandfathers death and you realize the magic and evilness that goes hand in hand with your family that also endangers the entire world.

Thats the story and the gameplay kicks ***. Basically every time you see a monster you lose a little bit of your sanity which you regain by killing the monster. Lose too much sanity and you begin to lose your mind. You might see something like spiders running across you tv screen(which look so real its scary) or your character hallucinates and begins walking on the ceiling or thinks they have no arms(which prevents you from attacking) It is so amaingly aweosme. Also you pick where you want to hit or shoot an enemy, their arms, their head torso or legs, it adds alot of stradgey to the fighting. It is an amazing game and you have to get it!

Yeah man, you will not be dissapointed!!!
I believe you can find it now for under 15 bucks.
Check out igns review if you are curious to read in depth about it, it got a 9.6.

I think every GC owner should have:

- SSBM
- RE4
- Super Mario Sunshine
- F-zero GX
- Pikmin 2
- Metroid Prime(1 is preferable)

I didn't really like this game much. At first it absolutly sucked me in, but after a while it got boring to me. Running around doing errands 24/7 isn't really that fun. I found myself changing the date to the new year so my parents would send me 10,000 bells and I would use it toward the house payoff. Repeat.

Although I would say it was a good game, it just wasn't that fun for me.
