I doubt it, probably use something else... Microsoft should just make a tv... it would solve this problem...

Why? Even if they didn't want to use sony tv's, there's a multitude of other tv's that are out and are better than some sony tv's.

The reason i ask this is because microsoft said they want to take over the living room . Well a tv is in the living room and i wonder if they will be making tv's. I know they want to make the all in one box but you still need a tv to run it on . Oh and thanks for a normal response , not like those other clowns.

nah, they won't be making any Tv's. They just want to take over the living room by having one device that can do everyting (music, movies, games, pictures etc.) like the xbox 360 is supposed to do. It's just like a home media center tht plays games.

yes but you need a way to get it from your pc to the tv. it works with the home media center on your PC. you can trasnfer movies, pictures, music wirelessley.

np, I think Windows Media Center comes with WIndows XP Home Edition. Here is some info on 2004 version: http://www.pcmag.com/article2/0,4149,1304918,00.asp

If you have a tv tuner card on your pc and have a cable/satellite cable going to your pc, you can record tv shows too.

Windows Media Center isn't standard on home edition. Most newer computers have it.
