    XBOX Custom Soundtrack Question

I burned a cd-r with a bunch of songs and my xbox won't read it. Is this just because my dvd drive for my box is the wrong type in terms of reading cd-rw's? Should i try a data cd or another cd or should i just use my normal audio cd's?

it's probably just your xbox drive

I know that I can use CD - R discs but they have to be the Memorex kind with the white front label. Any color CD's regardless of CD RW or CD R won't rip on my box.

It really depends on the drive.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)

Could be the drive. You might want to try another brand of cd's too, as some brands don't seem to work.

I've found the Memorex, CD-R or CD-RW to work the best. With the white label though, nothing else.
