    Sleeper Games at E3

Obviously all the coverage from E3 was for the big huge fancy games, but was there anything on the unsung heroes of the event? I'm looking forward to Shadow of the Collosus but it could be pretentious garbage. Was there anything good under the radar that wasn't a fake Killzone trailer?

Spore was a big hit at the show from what I heard, as well as Alan Wake.

    Here's some articles on both.

    Spore:

The next game from the creator of The Sims will let you start your life in a raindrop and end up conquering entire worlds. We take an up-close look.

    Alan Wake:

We were fortunate to be among the first in the world to see the E3 demonstration of the next game from the maker of Max Payne: the psychological horror action title, Alan Wake.

a game called okami or something along those lines got some awards. To be honest though this was the worst E3 in a while in terms of games.

I'm really really excited to play Spore, it loosk like it's as close to playing god as I'm ever gonna get.

Alan Wake looks okay but they still can't make humans look perfect yet. Its getting better but it's still a little creepy.

Also that okami game looks really, really amazing. I've seen screenshots and its just friggin' beautiful. Beyond that I don't know about much, except the obvious stuff like gears of war, star wars, zelda, etc.

Another thing I hear about from my friend who actually got to go to E3 was gorgon box. He said they were handing out cards all over the place with "www.gorgonbox.com" printed on them. I checked out the site and it's got some bizarre encryption code stuff on it. Interesting but confusing. Finally I was able to dig up a little dirt on it at ign:

So my guess now is that this is for a game and they're rolling out bit by bit, to get us excited. And it's kind of working, because I enjoyed the hell out of the stuff I've been able to unlock at the site:

If this IS for a game, I think I'd play it. Anyone got any more info on this? Or screen shots, etc. I know there's more but you have to unlock certain part of the site and so far it's not giving me any more love.
I'm trying quite hard to look like I know what I'm doing.

wasn't the gorgon the home planet of the good guys in that toy soldiers movie with Kirsten Dunst and Phil Hartman? Also Spore just sounds sick after reading that preview... and Alan Wake looked interesting although the trailer was a little too slow for me, not enough action.
