I reserved my xbox 360 at EB. If you want one, I suggest going there now if you want any hope of getting one at launch. Each store is only allowed a certain amount at launch. And if you remember anything about the ps2 launch and how hard it was to get your hands on one. My store is only getting 36. I got the last one because someone had cancelled their order. So get out there now if you want one...

Why not reserve though? Its not like its hurting anything plus you will get one for sure that night. Why take a chance?

I think your dead wrong. The first batch that comes out will be sold out, and you can take that to the bank..

Microsoft is not going to make the same marketing mistake Sony did with the PS2. There WILL be plenty of 360's to go around, and you can take that to the bank...

Besides the PS2, I've never had a single problem finding any system on launch day, or even a few days after. The 360 will be no different.

Just like everyone was saying about the PSP, which were available anywhere and everywhere at launch? Just like Halo 2, which was available practically anywhere you wanted to buy it on launch day?

As AtX said, I think game hardware and software manufacturers have learned from the PS2 launch debacle, in which Sony artificially created shortages to build hype and demand. That pissed off just as many gamers as it enticed, I think.
