Why not reserve though? Its not like its hurting anything plus you will get one for sure that night. Why take a chance?

I reserved mine at EB as well last week.

I would rather buy from somewhere with a service plan/replacement plan so if it dies they'll fix it free or give me a new one. More than likely I'll get it from Best Buy and I'll bet money if I can't find it there I can get it at a variety of other places.

I didn't reserve Halo2 and then the night it came out at midnight when they were showing all the videogame stores on the news I thought I might have made a mistake not reserving it. I walked into my local Target and bought it. There were at least 100 more copies sitting behind the counter. I even had the option of buying the CE if I wanted.

I'm still sticking to my plan and hitting Wal-Mart, Best Buy, Fry's or somewhere like that. I bet I have no problem finding one.

Nah...Best Buys and Fry's will probably be gone...I suggest Wal Mart and Target and those sell everything kind of stores.

As with the PSP's, Best Buy and Fry's had tons at launch and still do, I doubt the will be running low.

I realize it's a different system with a different hype, but the marketing tactics are still the same between the two.

EB and GameStop dont offer warranties? I thought they did. I know EB does on their games.

So MS knows 6 months before launch exactly how many units they are going to ship to each game store? Riiiighhhht....there will no shortage.
