Steve Jobs Not Impressed with the Cell Processor

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Tags: None -

Re: Steve Jobs Not Impressed with the Cell Processor
Originally posted by coogrfanI did, but it didn't cause me to make the leap in logic some of you have. Tha fact is you and I have no way to know what sort of agenda Jobs might have had in making such a statement. All I'm suggesting is that an xbox site is probably the last place on the planet one should look for info on the presumed capabilities of the ps3.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Re: Steve Jobs Not Impressed with the Cell Processor
I think that article is interesting, not because of the cell, but because of the x86 chip they were talking about. I would definitely buy a PC that could run apple programs as well as Windows and its programs, that would be nuts.Comment

Re: Steve Jobs Not Impressed with the Cell Processor
Straight to the point. Makes me really wonder what Sony is seeing in the future. Apple looks like it's going to make a big leap in a few months, Microsoft seems that way too. I won't hate on Sony, but will wait to see. But this really makes me laugh hard inside cause Sony is talking so much (through their father) but hasn't really backed it up too well. Maybe it's just me though. What happened at E3 was a great example. Kind of like the devil luring prey. Though it looks good....Comment
