More comments about the xbox 360 from Kutaragi
This guy just loves talking about the 360.

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Tags: None -

Xbox 360 must be a great system, as Kutaragi can't stop talking about.
He's either scared or still bitter about being demoted and kicked off the board of directors.
He even took a little shot at nVidia
They sometimes overdo things, but their corporate culture is very similar to ours.Last edited by Flawless; 06-13-2005, 07:26 PM.Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment

Re: More comments about the xbox 360 from Kutaragi
I know that I'm a Christian and I try not to curse by what the hell is this P-E-N-U-S (my spelling) talking more about his competition? This makes no sense honestly.
According to Kutaragi, Microsoft has only improved the graphic performance and increased the output resolution with the Xbox 360 and its multiple core architecture will only “increase the machine's capabilities as an all-purpose computer, but it won't change the type of entertainment.”
Ladies and gentlemen, I'm quite irritated by their little game of word play. What the heck kind of entertainment are we suppose to expect from a GAMING SYSTEM?? It doesn't make any sense. All those things are basically what Sony is doing too right, except for the word structure of what type of entertaiment it is. I guess the "new entertainment" of PS3 = Emotion Engine of PS2. Sometimes....Comment

Re: More comments about the xbox 360 from Kutaragi
IMO, what Sony is saying is far less important than WHY they are saying it. Their repeated comments make it obvious that they see the Xbox360 as a real threat in the next-gen, and are actively trying to keep the hype machine going for the PS3. Kutaragi quibbling over chip architecture and 'computer entertainment' is just noise really, what they are trying to do is keep their core audience (and Japanese) engaged in the debate and focused on how Sony thinks the PS3 is better than the Xbox360. As much as possible, Sony needs to make sure that their 'early adopters' don't get sucked in by the Xbox360, because there is a good chance they won't be buying a PS3 6 months later. I still expect Sony to sell millions of consoles and games, but with Xbox beating them to market, and a more cohesive strategy for content/community, the race is going to be much much closer this go around.
Assuming comparable content on both platforms, I think the race in North America is going to be pretty even. Where the next gen race is going to be won or lost will be Japan and Europe IMO. This is why MS is trying to bring more Japanese developers on board for the 360, and Sony is flooding the media with Xbox hate.Comment

Sometimes its good to judge the system by the company who is making it...
I'll be getting an Xbox360 this Winter.

Re: More comments about the xbox 360 from Kutaragi
From everything that he's said it seems like he they are worried about what Microsoft has in store for the 360.
They are trying to grab "hardcore" gamers by the throat and back them in a corner and say
"Look, they aren't concentrating solely on gameplay...look at all they are trying to do with one console! It's far to spread out and scatter brained to work."“Nobody in the history of the game tried what I just tried. We’re talking about on the biggest stage, in New York, playing out of position and asked to hit fourth for the New York Yankees. I mean, that’s never been done.” - Sheffield on SheffieldComment

This guy just doesn't shut up does he? It's kinda making me hate Sony even more..."I'm servin' dudes like Wimbeldon, advantage, 2uce..."
"They say, 'Marc'us, what do you know about rappin? You don't do drugs, and you don't squeeze hammers' Yeah, i don't fit that stereotype, but i'm bumpin in your stereo right!?"
