here is a website to check out if you like sports. its a sports stock market called ASM. it's pretty cool and i have made a lot of $$$. its not gambling by any means. ill post the link below.

Agreed. Just too much crap to keep me interested. What's the basic point of all this? This looks like an easy way to lose money just like it is to gain it.

it was confusing to me at first but the people on the forums are very helpful. it took me about a week to catch on and make some cash. all my friends said the same thing but now they are addicted just like i am. plus, ASM will match your first depost by a 100%. i havent talked to anybody thats lost money yet. the only way to lose money is if your ******** or the whole market would crash, but thats not gonna happen because they are expanding like crazy.

How is this not gambling?? I played pretty much this same game a couple of years ago (I think the website was tradesports.com, they're probably still around), and if you ask me it's gambling - just more complicated than your traditional run of the mill sports book. It can be fun if you know what you're doing, and I did make some money on it, but among the reasons why I stopped are......I'm nearly positive that it's illegal, depending on what state you live in.

This is from that site's legal jargon:

While I have no idea whether there's any way to get "caught" for this or whether there's actually any risk, from what I understand gambling online is illegal if gambling is illegal in your state. If anyone knows more about this feel free to add.
