Same here. He has the cold dark looks as well as the voice to match Agent 47. Good call for whoever did the casting. Just add a barcode to his neck and presto!!

I have never played any of the hitman games, are they any good?

Part 1 and 2 were great. I dont know how everyone else played the game but for me, my goal was to complete each level with as little loss of life as possible. Sometimes you need to kill a person for they're cloths but for the most part, the fun thing for me was tryna sneak around without having to fire a single shot.

The levels offer multiple ways for completion. For example, the first mission of part 2 was to take out this guy in his mansion. You could ethier:

1. Take out the mailman or flower delivery guy and switch into his cloths so you can walk through the front gate unoticed.

2. Sneak pass a few guards at a side entrance to a garage where a sniper rifle awaited.

3. There is a guy bringing groceries into the home from the back. Kill that guy and take his cloths and sneak pass the guards through the back door.

4. Go in Gunz-a-blazzin!!

But thats not all, those options are only for entry to the home, next comes the plan to kill your target and get away unoticed. You'll have to play the game for yourself if you want more. I have not played the 3rd game in the series as it was regarded the weaker of the 3 so I cant speak for that.

I've never played these games except once at my friend's house, but Vin does look the part.

I actually like Vin Diesel as an actor (in the right roles).

I've never played a Hitman game though, I may check the movie out.

I hope this goes well, I think Vin has talent as an actor (Saving Private Ryan, Boiler Room) so hopefully this goes well.

Its one of those roles where vin might be very good or very bad. I think the guy from the transporter movie would of been a better choice.

Agreed. Vin is kind of "dry" when it comes to these types of parts. Think about that movie Riddick. That was a dry movie. I think it was because of his dry connection with the character. Maybe it's just me. I think someone who was foreign and had that type of role before should be playing Hitman. Then again, he might do okay. It all depends on who's demanding it out of Vin. If it's just a director trying to make money, then I'm sure it'll be a bust. If it's someone devoted to get the realism of the game into the movie, then we're in for a treat. To only have the same kind of talent that Michael Keaton had in Batman. That would be beautiful....

Jason Statham doesn't have the star power in the US like Vinny D. Hell, if The Pacifier can go number 1 at the boxoffice, I'm sure Hitman will be a hit.

I know. It's just like every mother sucker can be a star in a movie. It use to be you had to have great talent in your movie in order to have a nice box office hit. It's just not the same anymore. We definitely need more of those great old actors. Shoot, bleach Denzell Washingtons skin and call it a day. I just don't see this movie making it big though. Just don't. Plus, wait til the adults get a look at this one. think aboutit. The different ways he "accomplished his tasks" won't be honestly liked morally. When does it come out....
