My copy is going back, the online portion is pure crap. It's too confusing, no one has any clue what to do, and everyone shoots rockets or spawn kills like crazy. A game earlier I died 17 straight times due to spawn kills. You only have 2 spawn points, so they can sit there with a tank and blast you over and over and over again. Annoying. Add to the fact that some people have figured it out and when I asked them for help, I was called a "newb". Sorry, the game came out today, and I haven't been playing it for 14 straight hours already. As I talked to one guy during the spawn kill fest, he agreed, game will be a ghost town online within a month.

Add to that, IGN was totally dead on, the screen is so cluttered online that you really have no idea what's going on. AVOID!

I'll pick it up again when it's a platinum hit for the single player only.

Never played a Conker game before, but the previous title looked fun and funny. What type of game is Conker and about how much is Bad Fur Day?

The disc has Bad Fur Day which is a 97% port of the N64 game. And then there's the above mentioned, horrific online play. I wouldn't buy it. Single player is great as it was 5 years ago, but not for $50.

Oh, I thought the new release was a brand new game, not a port. What a rip off IMO.

I have played it and yeah I am glad I didn't buy it. The online play is no Halo 2 killer which = people won't be playing this two weeks from now like most new games I buy just for XBL. The single player I feel I will finish pretty quick and will never look at again. Conker = don't buy for the multi, play for the single since there aren't many great platformer/adventure games on Xbox. Since I never played the N64 version this game is fresh to me, but if you beat it on N64 you may not even want to touch this one, I have compared old gamefaqs guides to the game I am playing now and they are nearly identical gameplay and puzzle wise.

The single player game is basically identical. Conker's Bad Fur Day was a great day for it's time, and the single player is still very good today even 5 years later. I wish they would have kept the old multiplayer in though, it was much better than the crap they have there now.

Can anyone with the game confirm that?

The game isn't out here in Australia till July 7th and i'm thinking of importing it earlier (which will probably be cheaper for me too).

I think you're better off asking around GameFaq's or some Xbox.com fourms, or TeamXbox.com forums. You might find someone else from Austrailia or another country who has tried it out. I don't know if you'll anyone with a different region playing this game yet on here.

I'm up to the last level on the single player and have enjoyed it. I have also played over 4 1/2 hours of multiplayer and I must say it is quite fun. I honestly can't wait to get better and play with others who know what they are doing. It is only a matter of time before everybody playing on LIVE knows what the hell they have to do. Oh man, when you have a team which knows what is needed to win, this game is pure joy! The class balance issues that have been talked about, I think come from the user not knowing enough about the multi and/or lacking in skill. I will have a in depth impression on both single and multiplayer around 5 to 7 PM Eastern time on Friday, so look for it.
