    Psychonauts

Amidst all this Conker talk, I started to think that I would really be in the mood to play a cool platforming game. I don't actually own any non-sports games, but I figured the platforming genre might offer me a nice break from my WE8 and MVP seasons.

So, when searching around for reviews, I came across Psychonauts...And after watching the gamespot video review I'm completely intrigued. The game looks absolutely amazing. The atmosphere and character of the game looks fresh and intelligent. I'm sure the gameplay is easy but I don't mind since I'm terrible at combat anyways.

    Anyone play this game?

Yes, you must go buy this game. Psychonauts is one of the most brilliant games of this generation. Tim schafer is a genius. Everything from the attention to detail, the unique atmosphere, terrific character designs, excellent voice acting, great animation, level designs, and excellent story (very humorous)!!

Nice.....Good to know that games aren't only being made for the masses.

A creative gem of a game that has flown somewhat under the radar.

I'm not really a platform gamer, but after watching my wife enjoy this title for awhile, I gave it a shot, and enjoyed it alot. Game contains some really insanely creative levels that will leave you wondering what Schafer was smoking at the time of development. You have some RPG-lite aspects of character building, humorous script with a well written storyline, some other great characters to interact with, and like I said before, some really creative levels that you just won't see in most games out there. Schafer really hit a homerun with this title.

Get it, especially if you're into platforms.

Yea it's great. I was wondering what the creator was smoking while I was playing it too but I guess that's a good thing since it's orignal.

I was looking at the review of it on ps2.... I guess I missed it's release on xbox. Would it be better on the xbox or ps2? (I ask b/c my xbox has disk read errors every once in awhile and doesn't load as fast as it should; keep that in mind)
