the DS vs PSP....
i've got a lil' $ to purchase one of these systems but i'm trying to decide which to buy. has anyone tried either one and if so which is the better product?...I am glad I got the Buell- I love riding it, I love the oddball looks I get on the road- I love people asking "What IS that thing?" I love flying into a corner WAY too hot, scared spitless and sure I'll never hold it at this speed- and hearing the bike whisper "Sissy!"...Tags: None -
Re: the DS vs PSP....
I have both (I know Sully, big surprise! LOL). At first, I played my PSP a ton, but the lack of titles and the original titles that are for the DS has lead me back to playing my DS more. Add to the fact that the DS can play GBA games, you have a monster library of games.
All in all, when it's all said and done, they are completely different systems. One's unique and original (DS), and one is powerful and more "adult", also is capable of MP3's, movies, etc (PSP).
If I could buy only one, I would probably get the DS, but I like Nintendo original games. If you want great graphics and other things, then the PSP is for you. -

Re: the DS vs PSP....
I love the PSP. While I agree with Jistic that we need more games, the current games make DS and GBA games look silly. Also, a slew of good games appear to be on the not-too-distant horizon. MLB and Wipeout are two great games available now. I also hear Lumines is great.Comment

I don't have either. But I'm kinda wanting the DS now, especially with the new Mario and Luigi and Advance Wars in the works.
If you buy a PSP, you may want to grab a GBA while you're at it so you'll have something to play during the load times.Comment

Re: the DS vs PSP....
At the end of the year, DS is going to have the better lineup. PSP's looks like rubbish ALL through the year. Right now PSP has the better lineup, and now that Meteos has came out that advantage is solely racers and sports titles. Really interests me that a system on last-gen power can outdo one from early this gen in ANY given amount of time.
The bottom line is there still isn't enough games on either one to make them more than have it just for the hell of it purchases. Wait longer and get any of the good GBA games you missed over the years...or wario ware 2 and fire emblem 2 just released too.Comment
