Keeping my Xbox on...
Has anybody kept their Xbox' on for the whole night without turning it off. I just remembered I left it on at home and Im afraid maybe it will melt or somethingTags: None -
Re: Keeping my Xbox on...
Correct. I enabled the auto-shutoff feature, which shuts it off after 6 hours of idleness (if that's a word).
However, I've had times leaving on my PS2 all night, falling asleep watching a movie. I never have any laser problems.
HOWEVER, there was one time with my PSX where I left it on for 4 days straight... THAT ****ed the laser up big time. It doesn't work anymore.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

Re: Keeping my Xbox on...
I left mine on for about 7 straight hours, and now it opens on it's own sometimes. I'll turn it on, and then the drive will come out. Then I'll put a game in, and close the drive, then it re-opens. Very strange. Doesn't happen all the time, but I have no clue why it happens even at all..LOLComment
