Battlefield 2 XBox!!

Been playing the demo for a few hours now. AMAZING online! I played a bunch of the PC version over my buddies house, and this is basically exactly the same. A little dumbed down for the controller, but not bad. Artillary strikes are good as the PC version and what not. The demo handles 24 people online, already played with that many, awesome!! I've heard the retail for the 360 will be close to 50 online. I'm there! Only one map for the demo, USA vs. MEC in what seems like an Iraq field with a city. Called Backstab, no clue if it's in the PC version or not. So far, so good! Can't wait for this game!!! But the demo will hold me over for awhile.

I just couldn't imagine this playing as good on an Xbox as a PC. 360? Maybe. I also couldn't play this without a KB. There's too many commands.

I am LOVING this game BTW. 64 players online is INSANE. Some very memorable firefights! Chaotic, which is what I imagine battle to be.

I'm loving this game as well, but have not really found a good server that guys really play as a team. Let alone talk through a headset in a squad.. u??

It's hit or miss. Just like Americas Army. Sometimes some guys play together sometimes not. The good news is that over time most of the more casual players will stop playing. I find that if I make a squad over a few games the serious players will stay in and work together for objectives. Also as commander I always get a few squad leaders that will follow orders, etc.

That being said, if I'm a Special Forces kit. I work ALONE. Take a jet and go deep into enemy territory and blow up their Arty, Sat, UAV etc. Then I just request supplies while in there so I don't run out of C4. But if I'm assaulting then I work as a team. THis game will kill you if you work alone!

I agree about the alone part.. I just would like to find some guys to team up with. I think that would really make this game a gem.

It plays very close to the PC cousin. In the games I played, the teams played a lot better together. You press white to talk to your team and when we were doing 12 on 12, we did some good team work.

Is it better than the PC version, no, but for those without a system capable, or don't want to spend the cash to upgrade your PC, the Xbox version is a great alternative.

Tried it also and was pretty fun and I haven't played any Battlefield games so I'm not experienced so I'm sure I didn't know enough to really enjoy it.

I think it hit stores around the 2nd week of July. I usually get the mags about 10 days before they hit shelves.
