I picked up both Stronghold & Tropico (maximum strategy pack) for $5 at Walmart. If you aren't hung up on cutting edge graphics there is quite a bit of fun to be had in both games.
Funny how older pc games get a lot more of my attention nowadays.Comment

Lately i`ve been messing around with Strategic Command 2. Made by the same guys that brought us Combat Mission. Here`s a few screen shots... great game!

OAOW will run in XP but you'll probably need to run it under Win95 compatability mode. Operational Art of War 3 is out so says Gamespot but I still can't find it anywhere. OAOW is the Falcon 4.0 of turn based War Strategy games.
In fact alot of people don't know this but Falcon 4.0 shares some things in common with OAOW as it uses the Talonsoft Tactical War engine from the series and runs a flight simulator on top of the war game.
