GTA:SA for Xbox

Who has it?

I was thinking of picking it up because I have a craving for Grand Theft Auto, I'm just wondering if/how it is better than the PS2 version cause I played that one.

Are the controls hard to get used to? I remember with Vice City and GTA3 on the xbox had weird controls to get used to.

The controls aren't hard to get used to at all.

Alright thanks guys, the main thing for me was the controls.

I'll probably go buy it tomorrow, it will give me another game to play besides NCAA (when it gets boring, which at some point it will)

It's a lot of fun and I think you should pick it up, but the controls are a little awkward. Basically the same as they were on the other GTA games for XBOX from what I remember.

The controls aren't nearly as smooth as the version for the ps2 because of (obviously) the 4 shoulder buttons on the PS2 controller.

I'm going to pick up a controller from Wal-Mart called the Eclipse (I think that's the name) for about 13 bucks that has the black and white buttons just above the trigger.

They also have the wireless version of this controller too, I'm not sure on the price though. I'll give you guys some feedback on it once I get it and try it out for a little bit.

The controls are okay, but the way drive-bys are mapped is nuts.

Get it by all means bro, it is hella fun to play and you can waste endless hours on end playing it.

Me nor my son ever passed it on the PSII one back when it was out, but he got the itch like you, so we bought it on launch day for the XBox, and about two days ago Kev passed it!

He got into it so much, that this weekend we are going to go and buy the double pack, to play the two originals again.

Good to hear, I never beat it myself either.

I meant to get it yesterday but I never got around to it. Today I'm going to a family dinner , so it looks like Sunday is when I can get the game.
